KABUL—The Taliban’s deadliest
attack on the U.S.-led coalition in
Kabul, which killed 13 troops and
civilian employees this weekend,
showcased the insurgency’s
increasing ability to strike the
Afghan capital, challenging
military gains made over the past
year.
By launching such spectacular
strikes in Kabul, the Taliban—
driven from many historic
strongholds in their southern
heartland by the coalition—seek
to counter U.S. military assertions
that the coalition has reversed
the Taliban momentum and has
regained the initiative in the 10-
year war, analysts say.
U.S. officials in Kabul downplayed
the significance of Saturday’s
suicide attack and said it would
have little impact on the military
mission. “The enemies of peace
are not martyrs, but murderers,”
said coalition commander U.S.
Gen. John Allen. “To hide the fact
that they are losing territory,
support, and the will to fight, our
common enemy continues to
employ suicide attackers to kill
innocent Afghan fathers,
mothers, sons and daughters, as
well as the coalition forces who
have volunteered to protect
them.”
Another coalition official in Kabul
described the blast as an “act of
desperation” for the Taliban,
adding that “all of these attacks
by the insurgents in the last few
months have not accomplished
anything military or strategic.”
Even so, Gen. Allen has already
started taking extra steps to try
and insulate Kabul by shifting
more forces to the eastern
provinces surrounding the
capital, aiming to intercept
insurgents coming from their
hideouts in Pakistan.
One senior military official
described the Logar province just
south of Kabul as “today’s
Marjah,” a reference to the
Taliban stronghold in southern
Afghanistan that early last year
became the first major target of
the surge ordered by President
Barack Obama.
The Taliban dismissed the U.S.
military statements as wishful
thinking, saying the strike proved
the insurgent group’s ability to
hit the U.S.-led coalition
whenever it chooses.
“When we launch such attacks in
Kabul, home of all the
government and the
international security
headquarters, it is an indication
of our power and strength,”
Taliban spokesman Zabihullah
Mujahid said Sunday.
Mr. Mujahid said that the Afghan
suicide bomber had been living
in Europe and returned to
Afghanistan to carry out a
carefully planned mission.
The attacker tracked the coalition
convoy seven times over the past
month and waited until Saturday
to plow his vehicle, packed with
1,500 pounds of explosives, into
the side of the lumbering
armored bus, he said.
“There were different targets
chosen for him to attack, but he
refused and insisted on attacking
this convoy because important
people were in it,” Mr. Mujahid
said.
The blast killed at least 17 people,
including four U.S. troops, a
Canadian soldier, five U.S. civilians
working for the military, two
British civilian employees, one
Kosovo national, an Afghan
police officer and three Afghan
civilians, officials said.
It was the 16th high-profile
attack in Kabul this year, said the
U.S. military, and the single-most
deadly strike on the Western
coalition in the capital since the
2001 invasion.
In the last four months alone,
insurgents have struck the U.S.
Embassy, stormed one of the
city’s landmark hotels and killed
the country’s top peace
negotiator and former president.
“Bigger attacks gain more media
attention and propaganda value
while assassinations create a
leadership vacuum,” said Sami
Kovanen, senior information
analyst at Indicium Consulting, a
Kabul-based security analysis
company. “Both work every well
to erode the population’s
confidence in their security
forces and the government of
Afghanistan.”
On Sunday, investigators began
exploring the possibility that the
attack may have been the work
of the Haqqani network, a group
nominally subordinate to the
Taliban leadership but
operationally autonomous. The
Taliban spokesman didn’t
answer a question of Haqqani
involvement.
The Haqqanis, who enjoy
particularly close connections to
the Pakistani intelligence, have
become the new focus of the
U.S.-led military’s attempts to
cripple the insurgency and
protect Kabul.
Afghan officials suggested that
the attack may have come in
response to the stepped up
pressure the Obama
administration has put on the
Haqqani network in recent
weeks.
The U.S. military recently staged a
major offensive against Haqqani
fighters in eastern Afghanistan,
while top American leaders flew
to Islamabad to put new
pressure on Pakistan to clamp
down on the group’s bases in
the tribal area of north
Waziristan.
Most international forces are
scheduled to leave Afghanistan
by late 2014, transferring
security duties to the fledgling
Afghan army and police.
Coalition troops in Kabul, where
these tasks have already been
formally transferred, are mostly
trainers, logistics and
headquarters personnel, and
rarely go on patrol.
Saturday’s blast occurred one day
after the Pentagon said in a
report that insurgent attacks
have fallen for five consecutive
months, defying the military’s
own predictions andsuggesting
that the insurgency is fractured.
Those numbers contrasted with
earlier United Nations statistics
that show rising insurgent
violence.
Saturday’s attack was the
deadliest for American forces in
Afghanistan since August, when
a Taliban fighter fired a rocket
propelled grenade at a Chinook
transport helicopter, killing 38
people, including 17 U.S. Navy
SEALS.
Saturday’s attack also marked the
first time that one of the
armored buses, known as a
Rhino, has been destroyed in
Afghanistan or Iraq after being
selectively used by the military for
nine years. The Rhino, billed by
its manufacturer as “the
toughest bus on Planet Earth,” is
used by high-level officials to
travel in war zones. “It’s just not
designed to take that kind of
direct hit,” said Martin Miller,
president of Armour Group Inc.,
which manufactures the Rhino.
“There’s nothing that’s been built
that hasn’t been destroyed in the
battlefield.”
The Rhino was used to transport
former Iraqi President Saddam
Hussein to and from court during
his trial. And it has come under
repeated attack while bringing
people to and from the Baghdad
airport. “For a target it’s pretty
easy because it is slow moving
and, nine times out of 10, it will
be full of people,” said one
private security official in Kabul.
“Unfortunately, the Taliban did
their homework.”
Saturday’s attack also produced
some diplomatic fallout after
Afghan President Hamid Karzai
failed to express his sorrow for
the loss of American troops
when he issued a statement on
Saturday condemning the killing
of Afghans.
The omission caught the
attention of American officials,
and Mr. Karzai personally
apologized on Sunday to Gen.
Allen and U.S. Ambassador Ryan
Crocker for the oversight,
according to two Western
officials in Kabul.
After meeting with the two
Americans, Mr. Karzai reissued
the statement and explicitly
expressed his “heartfelt
condolences and sympathies” for
the coalition losses.
While the bus is designed to
withstand roadside bombs,
security analysts said it would
have been difficult for any vehicle
to survive a 1,500-pound bomb
at close range.
Gaddafi’s son prefers to die than surrender.
Saif al-Islam Gaddafi has
completely dismissed the recent
news about his intention to
surrender to the International
Criminal Court in The Hague.
According to the slain Libyan
leader, “that was just one
(report) in a campaign of
disinformation which is faced by
the supporters of Gaddafi.” He
added that this news will not
discourage the resistance in
Libya.
The “Seven Days News” website
which published Saif al-Islam’s
message is close to the former
Libyan regime.
In the recent message, Saif al-
Islam warned his supporters
against the press reports about
his intention to surrender. He
expected tht athe distribution of
false information will continue
additional two months. He urged
his loyalists of his father’s regime
to be patient and vigilant amid
“efforts of creating doubts in the
hearts of everyone.”
Saif al-Islam hinted he is on the
Libyan soil-while the former
intelligence chief Abdullah Sanusi,
is outside Libya, as he said:
“Some people say we are
arrested, which means that it will
be handed over to the ICC while
others claim that we handed
over ourselves, and this analysis
is wrong in the sense that
brother Abdullah Sanusi is
outside Libya. While the reports
say I was detained, how can
both of us will be handed over as
reported the news?! “.
Saif al-Islam stressed he could
not betray his father, who did
not give up and never cheated:
“We do not give up. We will win
or die. “
25 US-NATO troops killed in martyrdom attack in Kabul
KABUL – Mullah Mohammad Omar’s spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid reported yesterday that as many as 25 top-level trainers of the USZ-NATO invaders got killed in martyrdom operation carried out by a martyrdom-seeking gallant Mujahid of the Islamic Emirate in Kabul City, the capital of the country on Saturday. Mujahid Abd-ur-Raman with indomitable courage and true spirit of faith slammed his vehicle stuffed with some 700 Kg explosives, into a vehicle carrying the USZ-NATO invader trainers who used to train the local puppets at about 11:00 am on Saturday.

The attack took place in Dar-ul-Aman area in the heart of Afghan capital killing at least 25 USZ-NATO terrorist invader trainers as well as wounding dozens more USZ-NATO high-ranking terrorist invaders and blowing their vehicles to pieces besides destroying a vehicle of the local police escorting the terrorist invaders’ vehicle. A number of security puppets were also killed in the attack. A passer-by was, however, martyred (may God grant him the highest ranks in Paradise) and three more got hurt in the operation.

Electricity from Coal project to be completed in 2 months – Dr. Samar Mubarakmand
Famous Pakistani Scientist Dr. Samar Mubarakmand has said that the project for producing electricity from coal has been completed half way and the remaining 50% work will be finished within the next two months. He said that this project will not only generate ample electricity for Pakistan but also fulfill country’s energy requirements to a great extent.

Dr. Samar Mubarakmand quoted these details in a seminar organized by IEEEP in Lahore. He said that the technical difficulty in this project is that while digging out coal, water rises above the coal surface however this glitch is being dealt with. He further said that after completion of this project, Pakistan’s GDP could straight away jump up from 8 to 10.He appealed to all influential forces in the country to support this project. Discussing Kalabagh Dam, he said that hurdles in construction of Kalabagh Dam was bad luck for Pakistan. Bhasha Dam is a comparatively more expensive and less feasible project and it will not generate electricity in winter very robustly. Earlier, Dr. Samar Mubarakmand had told the media that Thar Coal Project will be completed by December 2013.

Army slams rubbish BBC report, mulls Legal Action against Zionist Lies Factory
RAWALPINDI (Agencies) – Pakistan military on Thursday, slammed a BBC report that alleged the Pakistani military, along with its intelligence arm, of supplying and protecting the Afghan Taliban and Al-CIA-Da. A number of middle-ranking Taliban commanders detailed what they said was extensive Pakistani support in interviews for a BBC Two documentary series, the first part of which was broadcast Wednesday.

Can The US Afford To Lose Pakistan????
I wish she (Hillary) had also commented over General Kayani’s other statement that the US would think ten times before attacking Pakistan. In this game of brinksmanship between two so called ‘allies’ and nuclear armed nations, the Americans had clearly blinked first. By Brig Farooq Hameed khan
If one were to describe the strange nature of a complex Pak- US relationship, it seems more akin to a roller coaster ride with uneasy highs and frustrating lows, a relationship based on mistrust, which has remained US sanctions oriented with arm twisting of an ally that has remained allied with the United States from the SEATO/CENTO defence pacts of the fifties to the Afghan jihad of the eighties and the post 9/11 war on terror.
The last ten years have been particularly characterized by the ‘do more’ mantra and grumpy ‘mother in law’ style nagging from a super power that is determined to stitch together a security system to protect its interests in Afghanistan and the region. Pakistan considers this to be inimical to its vital national security interests.
While the American stooge, Karzai talks ridiculously of coming to Pakistan’s rescue in case of a US or Indian attack, he cunningly signed at US behest the strategic cooperation agreement in New Delhi that allows Indian Army to train the Afghan National Army/police. This obviously implies increased presence of Indian Army advisors/trainers and RAW’s intelligence operatives on Afghan soil leading to greater Indo-US- Afghan destabilization efforts in FATA and Balochistan.
Pakistan resents US efforts to promote India as a regional/hegemonic power. From our perspective, the scenario of an Afghan Army trained with an Indian mindset, deployed along Pakistan’s borders is simply unacceptable and a threat to Pakistan’s security. As long as the United States follows this flawed strategy of giving the Indians an unduly key role, the dream of bringing peace and stability to Afghanistan and the region would remain elusive.
Why does the United States remain obsessed with Iran Pakistan (IP) gas pipeline project? It is planned to transmit 20 million cubic meters of natural gas daily from Iran through Balochistan province and is expected to be operational by 2014, or perhaps even earlier. During her recent visit to Pakistan, Hillary Clinton referred to Iran as ‘a dangerous neighbor’ and once again expressed reservations about the IP project that is so critical to Pakistan’s strategic energy requirements.
Iran may be dangerous for United States and Israel but has remained friendly to Pakistan despite some hiccups in the historical and traditionally warm and close relations between the two Islamic neighbors. Pakistanis would consider it an unfriendly act by United States if it tries to sabotage or stall the IP gas pipe line project.
The US opposition to IP gas pipeline project also stems from its concerns that this pipeline could be extended to China via the Karakoram Mountains to link with China’s restive eastern Xinkiang province. While Americans eye Balochistan as a trade and energy corridor linking the Arabian sea warm waters to energy rich central Asian states via Afghanistan, it is opposed to any Chinese presence in Gwadar port on Balochistan’s coast which is also being planned as Pakistan’s future energy hub due to its geo strategic/commercial importance at the mouth of the Persian Gulf .
While Pakistan is a signatory to the TAPI( Turkmenistan- Afghanistan – Pakistan- India) gas pipeline agreement, this mega project will remain a non starter unless the security situation in Afghanistan improves as well as has total support of the Afghan resistance groups including the Taliban and Haqqanis. The Americans are keen to promote TAPI not out of love for Pakistan but see the prospects of lucrative contracts to American oil firms.
It is therefore easy to comprehend the conspiracy behind US led efforts to keep Balochistan hot through baloch insurgency, so as to derail the IP project and keep Chinese investors and workers out of this mineral rich province of Pakistan. Aware of such clandestine activities, Pakistan has not allowed the United States to open a Consulate in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan province as this would provide them much needed foothold for further subversion in coordination with string of Indian Consulates on the Afghan side across Balochistan.
The US Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton made few important admissions in her latest visit to Islamabad in a bid to pacify heightened anger and anti US sentiments amongst Pakistanis, since Admiral Mike Mullen’s astounding allegations against Pakistan Army /ISI in the wake of the deadly Kabul attacks few days before his retirement.
In an outright rejection of misleading hype/propaganda by their own Chairman Joint Chiefs, she absolved the ISI of any role in the Kabul attacks, confirmed US contacts with Haqqanis through ISI’s good offices, dismissed reports of unilateral US led ‘boots on ground’ operation in North Waziristan and agreed with Pakistan Army Chief, General Kayani’s assertion that Pakistan was neither Iraq nor Afghanistan. The Americans had clearly lost face before the international community.
I wish she had also commented over General Kayani’s other statement that the US would think ten times before attacking Pakistan. In this game of brinksmanship between two so called ‘allies’ and nuclear armed nations, the Americans had clearly blinked first. Here if Raja Mujtaba is quoted when he said in his article, Prepare For Armageddon, “Before the US ventures into other Muslim lands, the US would want a submissive or a broken and denuclearized Pakistan. In both the scenarios it would mean Pakistan’s death. In such a scenario, Pakistan maybe compelled to go for non conventional weapons; if such a development takes place, India, Israel and the US installations in the region would not be safe. Can the US risk such a situation would only depend on the arrogance and sanity level of the US leadership,” would be very appropriate as it reflects a true feeling of every Pakistani.
The US desperation for a safe and honorable exit from Afghanistan is understandable. If after spending billions of US dollars that has brought US economy on the verge of collapse and failure of the much trumpeted Obama’s surge strategy, Kabul and Afghan countryside still remain vulnerable to daring Taliban daylight attacks, then White House and Pentagon Generals have a lot to answer to the angry American nation. Remember Obama’s re-election is at stake as Americans go to the ballot box in less than a year.
The US Secretary of State knew fully well that the days of coercing or dictating Pakistan were over. After CIA agent Raymond Davis’s episode and May 02 Osama Bin Laden strike, the Pakistani mood viz a viz the Americans had changed to ‘Enough is enough’. Clearly stabbed in the back through CIA’s covert intelligence network across Pakistan, it was time to review and redefine the entire gambit of Pak-US relations.
The Pakistani political and military leadership had unitedly sent a strong message through the All Parties Conference (APC), few weeks before Hillary’s visit. The APC Resolution is in fact a renunciation of ‘war on terror’ and instead declares a national reorientation towards peace, reconciliation and dialogue with the Pakistani tribal / extremist groups.
Pakistanis openly question the wisdom of allying with the US led war on terror that has only brought misery and destruction to Pakistan, a failing economy that suffered 100 billion US dollar losses with over 35000 Pakistanis dead including military/law enforcement personnel. This war was never ours, one which was thrust on us in which Pakistanis were the ultimate victims.
During her visit, Hillary Clinton also referred to the Haqqanis, their old Afghan jihad allies, in her remark ‘ you can’t keep snakes in your backyard and only expect them to bite the neighbors’. The US dictation to Pakistan Army to attack the Haqqani network in North Waziristan makes no sense. First, because the Haqqanis carry out all anti US operations from inside their bases in Afghanistan. Second, the Haqqanis are no enemies of Pakistan. While the US has short term interests in Afghanistan, ours are long term in nature. Therefore, why should Pakistan sacrifice its long term interests for their short term gains?
But Pakistanis are also furious over tacit US- Afghan support to Tehreek-e Taliban militants who attack Pakistan Army in Dir and Chitral from across Afghan border in Kunar and Nuristan. This double game or a blackmailing approach will not take the US any where forward if it desires friendly support from the Pakistan side.
While Pakistan could use its influence to facilitate the Afghan Taliban and Haqqanis to support the Afghan peace and democratic process, yet results cannot be guaranteed in days and weeks as per US expectations for the forthcoming Istanbul and Bonn international conferences in November and December respectively.
The regional stakeholders as well as Afghan resistance groups demand a total and unconditional withdrawal of all foreign forces and do not support US bases on Afghan soil after 2014. The US has therefore has hard choices to make, continue the lost war and be doomed or adopt the path of peace, dialogue and political reconciliation in Afghanistan. Even more important, Can it afford to lose Pakistan?
Pakistan successfully test fires nuclear-capable Stealth cruise missile
Pakistan successfully test-fired Friday a stealth cruise missile capable of carrying nuclear warheads, according to an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release.
The military said the “Hatf VII” missile had a range of 700 kilometres (438 miles) and was a “low-flying, terrain-hugging missile with high manoeuvrability, pin-point accuracy and radar avoidance features”.

Capable of carrying nuclear warheads, the military said the special feature of Friday’s launch was the validation of a new multi-tube missile launch vehicle (MLV).
The test was witnessed by Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Khalid Shamim Wynne, Director General Strategic Plans Division Lieutenant General (Retd) Khalid Ahmed Kidwai, Commander Army Strategic Force Command Lieutenant General Tariq Nadeem Gilani and Chairman National Engineering and Scientific Commission (NESCOM) Muhammad Irfan Burney, senior officers and from the armed forces and strategic organizations, scientists and engineers.
It can carry both nuclear and conventional warheads and has stealth capabilities. It also incorporates the most modern cruise missile technology of Terrain Contour Matching (TERCOM) and Digital Scene Matching and Area Co-relation (DSMAC).

A Pakistani wins Oscar of Science and Technology world
Pakistani Athar Osama, who dreams of reviving the Golden Age of Islamic Science, has won an award at an event considered to be the Oscars of Science and Technology on Wednesday night at the UN Building, New York. Osama has won the World Technology Network (WTN) award for Science and Innovation Media and Journalism from a breathtakingly talented group of people which included USAID Science Adviser Alex Dehgan.

“I feel so blessed to be recognised and honoured by the WTN among the elite of world’s science and technology leaders that will create the world of the future,” an excited Athar told ET.
Osama – known for his pioneering work on introducing and popularising the ideas of science and innovation policy through journalism — visions to promote Muslim science through his online journal Muslim-Science.Com.
Osama has been writing extensively on important science and innovation policy themes since 1992, initially for leading English newspapers in Pakistan, and later in international general interest journals and online.
In his acceptance speech in front of an audience at a black-tie reception, he said “We all cannot hope to create a world that is more developed, better, and safer, if we exclude the 1.5 billion Muslims from the fruits of science and technology. Muslim-Science.Com is dedicated to make a contribution in that realm,” according to the released statement.
“It was immensely gratifying and exhilarating,” he added.
Osama received letters of support from COMSTECH Coordinator General Dr Attaur Rahman, Saudi Science Minister Dr Mohammed ibn Ibrahim Al-Suwaiyel and Science Adviser to Malaysian Prime Minister Dr AH Zarki. Athar believes these letters were a significant factor in him winning this award.
He termed the launch of website Muslim-Science.Com as just the beginning. “Our hope is to launch a series of very interesting and important signature initiatives alongside the web portal that will make critical contributions in areas of greatest weaknesses in the science and innovation eco-system in the Islamic World,” Athar added in his speech.

World’s First Facebook Dependent Website by Pakistan
We get to experience many websites in this cyber world. We browsed millions of websites working on a specific domain like .com, .pk, .net etc.

But a group from Pakistan created the World’s First Facebook Dependent Website. I know you all got shock after reading that what do i mean with the term “Facebook Dependent Website” ?
Let me explain you, The website which was created by a group named “WTP” is totally based on Facebook. It is a mini website working under the premises of Facebook. You can surf through the galleries, Islamic portal, get to know informations about Pakistan and Pakistan’s each province etc etc.
Here is the link for that Facebook Dependent Website.

Pakistani Scientist develops innovative neurology method
A Pakistani scientist “Faisal Kashif” has devised a non-invasive way to sense brain pressure which could significantly change the current paradigm of neurological care of those suffering from brain injury or disease. Monitoring intra cranial pressure (ICP) is the most important thing to assess brain injury, hemorrhage (internal blood flow), tumors and other neurological problems. But current methods to measure this pressure are highly invasive – requiring a neurosurgeon to drill a hole in the skull to place a pressure sensor or catheter inside the brain – and are thus restricted to the very severe cases.

Pakistani scientist, Faisal Kashif has devised a non-invasive technology for ICP monitoring in his PhD thesis at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, US. The method is based on processing available clinical signals using a mathematical model of relevant physiology. It provides real time estimates of ICP and cerebrovascular impedance, the latter is an indicator of brain’s ability to maintain its blood supply.
“ICP is a key neurological vital sign and is affected in several brain pathologies – even in concussions and migranes – and this non-invasive method could help in monitoring a vastly larger pool of patients,” said Kashif. He further added that unlike the invasive approaches which require a neurosurgical facility, the non-invasive method can also be applied in emergency-care settings where most trauma patients are first brought. Having access to ICP in a timely manner can guide doctors to provide life-saving interventions.
The initial validation studies show that the new method is equally precise as compared to other painful surgery based procedures. Now Kashif and his colleagues are setting up their prototype device for real time monitoring by the doctors, and to run relevant clinical trials. He is also hopeful that the device could be easily developed in Pakistan as well.
The Helen Carr Peake research prize
In April this year, Dr. Faisal Kashif won MIT’s Helen Carr Peake research prize for his doctoral thesis contributions to the field of bioengineering. He has also presented his findings at two major international conferences, American Heart Association’s Stroke 2010 in US, and ICP 2010 in Germany.
His research work was also declared as “Most Innovative Research” at the Innovation Congress 2009, Boston, US. In 2000, he was awarded two Gold Medals at Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Technology (GIKI) and won four years HEC’s overseas scholarships as he was accepted for the doctorate program at MIT, though he only partially used these funds as support became available from MIT’s research, teaching and a medical engineering fellowship, which he was awarded for his proposed research.
A Thesis dedicated to Pakistan

His doctoral thesis entitled “Modeling and estimation for non-invasive monitoring of intracranial pressure and cerebrovascular autoregulation” was a milestone in Kashif’s career. Four years ago, in his Masters thesis, he developed a method for efficient communication through a nonlinear channel, such as the one encountered in satellite and optical fiber links. He dedicated this thesis to his parents and to all the martyrs of independence, which shows his dedication to Pakistan.
“I am proud to be a Pakistani because I know the reasons for its creation. I am very happy to associate my honours to the ideology behind it. I want to do a lot more Insha-Allah, and contribute in all ways I can,” he told to Dawn.com.

Russian & Pakistani banks to open branches in both the countries.

This was disclosed by Dr Zahid Khan, executive director of Russian Business Council for Cooperation with Pakistan and representative of Mosoble Bank, Timoshenkov Artem at a dinner on Friday.
There are many other Russian banks which are keen to develop banking relations with their counterparts in Pakistan but some issues related to regulation by the two central banks is causing delay, he added.
There had been long demand from the business community of both the countries for opening up of bank branches to regularise payments of imports and exports between the two countries.
Dr Zahid Khan said that Mosoble Bank of Russia and CresBank of Pakistan are expected to set up their branches early next year.
However, he said till such time branches are not opened, both the sides have agreed to provide services to business community by making arrangements for transfer of funds and other services through correspondence.
Other banks from Russia which have shown interest in opening of their branches in Pakistan included Mosco International Bank and Foreign Economic Bank, which is having 51 per cent government holding.
Earlier Brig (retd) Tariq Khalil, secretary general of Pakistan-Russia Business Forum (PRBF), said there was good scope of trade between the two countries.
For the first time such a large number of businessmen and industrialists from Russia are visiting Pakistan. The two delegations from Russia consist of 34 members with interest in construction, textiles, energy, fresh fruits and vegetables are holding business-to-business meetings with their counterparts.
Abdul Rauf Tabani, founder-president of PRBF, said that the present trade turnover between the two countries does not reflect the real potential, particularly when Russia is amongst 10 top economies of the world.
He stressed the need for expanding trade relations by holding trade fairs and exchange of delegations.

Replying to a question, he said that 582 plus foreign buyers delegates are on the visit to Expo 2011.
He said TDAP had provided services of interpreters in Chinese, Japanese, French, Spanish, Arabic, German and Russian to foreign buyers.
Responding to a question, Puri met with 22 foreign countries delegations in last three days. The included China, Japan, UK, USA, France, Brazil, Greece, Argentina, Madagascar, Belgium, South Africa, South Korea, Poland, Malaysia, Nigeria, New Zealand, Panama, India, Hong Kong, and Columbia.
Some of the delegations were headed by their ministers or high trade officials. Chinese delegation was headed by vice chairman China Counsel for Promotion of Trade.

Pakistan and India: Enemies forever!

(Written by Faisal Qureshi [faisalqureshi.com] )
India and Pakistan don’t have to be enemies forever. The real question is: Will they ever become friends? Before I dive into this question, let me make a quick mention of Hillary Clinton’s visit to the region. While speaking in Kabul, last Thursday, she warned Pakistani leaders to crack down on the Afghan insurgents based in Pakistan or pay “a very big price.” While Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani said that America “will have to think ten times” before launching a unilateral action in North Waziristan, because “Pakistan is not Iraq or Afghanistan.” And then in Islamabad Madam Clinton said that the United States expected to see concrete operations in a matter of “days and weeks.” In a separate interview, she said: “Pakistan has to be part of the solution, or they will continue to be part of the problem.” Strongest words used by both sides during this ongoing disagreement.
Europe heading for another Dark Age
Sylvia knew things would be tough, but never like this. With a masters’ degree in publicity, the 24-year-old has been working for more than two years, full-time, in an internship that is starting to feel like it will never end. Paid 300 euros a month for the same work as the salaried public relations professionals who sit next to her, she doesn’t earn enough to move out of her parents’ house and her bus pass and lunch expenses eat up most of her pay. But despite feeling her multinational employer is flouting rules that limit the use of worker contracts with no benefits, she’s not about to complain to the labor office since she considers herself blessed to have a job at all.

With the economy sluggish and the euro zone debt crisis strangling credit, businesses are keener than ever to avoid open-ended contracts with expensive severance pay. A quarter of Spain’s workforce is on temporary contracts, as is 23 percent of Portugal’s, compared with a European Union average of 14 percent. In Spain, Portugal and Italy, a rigid dual system has emerged. Middle-aged people have stable jobs with benefits. They are expensive to fire and protected by masses of legislation. Meanwhile, younger workers are stuck in a revolving door of temporary contracts that are easy to abuse. The two-track job market is stunting economic growth, studies show. Temporary workers get trapped for longer and longer periods without benefits, which affects output and makes southern Europe less competitive.
“You cannot just leave one segment of the labor market fully untouched and not motivate people to go to the job where they fit best… you might create employment in the short term but in the end it’s a dead-end road,” said Ton Wilthagen, a labor expert at Tilburg University in the Netherlands.
The curse of the mileurista — the Spanish-language term for a temporary worker who earns a thousand euros a month without benefits — is not new. Young professionals in southern Europe have found a permanent position elusive for some time. But the lost generation has wandered deeper into a maze as the euro zone debt crisis intensifies. Economic growth is slowing again and public sector jobs are disappearing as governments try to bring huge public deficits under control. ”We used to talk about mileuristas like it was a bad thing. Now it’s good. A 1000-euro a month temporary contract is decent,” said Jose Maria Marin, labor expert and contemporary history professor at Spain’s National University of Distance Education. In Rome, 27-year-old Federico has moved from one temporary job to another since he graduated in history in 2009. A 1000-euros-a-month is starting to look like an unobtainable dream.
“I was interviewed today for a one-year job but I didn’t like it because they were offering me 500 euros a month to work 10 hours a day,” said Federico, who did not want his last name used since prospective employers could search for him on the Internet. So far he has held out for a job in his chosen field of media or marketing. He wants to move out of his parents’ house but he needs a permanent job contract in order to sign a rental agreement. With more than a quarter of Italians from 15-24 years old out of work he’s starting to get desperate. “Sometimes I feel frustrated, and I start to send off lots of CVs, even to companies I don’t like, just so I have more chance of finding something”, he said.
The phenomenon of young people living with their parents is another thing holding back economic growth, creating a vicious cycle for job creation. If they were setting up new households they would be stimulating the housing market as well as consumer spending. Another risk for economies with high percentages of temporary workers, notes Wilthagen, is that banks are shy of lending to people without permanent employment, further holding back consumption.
Theoretically, a temporary contract is a foot in the door to prove yourself as a good hire. But in southern Europe many supposedly temporary hires renew contracts year after year and do the same jobs as the permanent hires around them, just without the job security or benefits. This creates an enduring second-class job tier similar to the phenomenon of “permatemps” in the United States of Zionism in the 1990s.
In Spain only 20 percent of temporary contracts led to permanent positions in 2008, one of the lowest rates in the European Union, according to a study by Ruud Muffels, a labor market expert at Tilburg University. His analysis of Eurostat data showed that mobility was better in Italy and Portugal. Pedro Portugal, a labor market expert at Nova University in Lisbon, said conversion rates of temporary contracts to permanent ones have decreased in Portugal to under 20 percent from 50 percent in the late 1990s.
Many Portuguese companies abuse a freelance contract called the “green receipt,” using it to hire full-time, in-house workers, said Joao Labrincha, an organizer of marches earlier this year against state austerity measures. He said that “green receipt” workers often have fixed schedules like any other employee, but have no right to holidays, social security, health insurance or severance pay.
“I’ve worked for the state under green receipts for more than five years. The system is rather perverse. Many of my colleagues are also under these precarious conditions, some of them have been temporary workers for the last 10 years”, said a middle manager at the Portuguese Institute of Museums, who asked not to be named. It’s difficult to transition into a permanent job when no such posts are being created. In Spain, 80 percent of new job contracts signed in the last decade were temporary contracts — businesses just aren’t creating permanent positions.
“Firms tend to link temporary contracts, to chain one after the other, with the effect that very few young people get transformed from temporary to permanent. This has a very negative impact on young people starting their careers”, said Anita Woelfl, economist with the OECD.
In 2010, under pressure from the European Union to reform its labor market and make it easier for companies to hire and fire, Spain’s Socialist government passed reforms meant to phase out temporary contracts and make permanent contracts cheaper for employers. But less than a year later the government did a U-turn after the 2010 reform failed to put a dent into the country’s unemployment rate, which continued to rise. “We’d rather have people on a temporary job than without a job,” said Labor Minister Valeriano Gomez when the government rolled back the reforms, introducing new rules that allow companies to extend some temporary contracts for up to three years.
Spain is becoming a country of people who are “apprentices until 33 and can’t retire until 75″, said union leader Ignacio Fernandez Toxo, criticizing the new rules, which included a new type of contract that gives companies more leeway to hire trainees for extensive periods with no benefits. The extended trainee contract was designed to retrain jobless men now in their late twenties or early thirties who dropped out of school as teenagers during Spain’s housing boom to work in well-paid construction jobs until the building sector collapsed in a pile of bad debt. In Portugal, where the jobless rate is 12 percent, significantly lower than Spain’s, the government has stuck to reforms that reduce and cap severance pay.
Juan Jose Dolado, an economist at Madrid’s Universidad Carlos III, said Spain should have kept its eye on the long-term goal and moved the country toward a one-contract system with phased-in severance pay benefits. “It was like crossing the river and being in the middle. They got scared in the middle, they didn’t move forward to reach the other side, they went back”, Dolado said. The Socialists, expected to lose November 20 general elections after eight years in power, are now campaigning on pledges to crack down on abuse of temporary contracts. The center-right opposition People’s Party, or PP, poised to win the November vote, says it wants to revive the original labor reform and move Spain toward one type of job contract, such as the one Dolado envisions.
But analysts say the PP may also flinch when it comes to cracking down on temporary contracts because they worry the short-term effect will be to put people out of work at a time when joblessness is the top concern of Spanish voters. Meanwhile, workers like Juan Francisco Seller, will continue to give their labor away, hoping a “real” job materializes. Seller is 27 and has a pharmaceutical degree. He’s been working for free in a hospital in Valencia for a year, doing research with a laboratory team. He has turned down paid work outside of his field, in order to keep his C.V. professional. “I’m one of those who have patience and I’m really clear that other options don’t appeal to me and I really like this field,” he said. But “in the end it drives you crazy.”

USZ should leave Afghanistan to avoid becoming Laughing Stock: Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan
Pakistan’s top Nuclear Scientist and father of Pakistan’s nuclear program Doctor Abdul Qadeer Khan, terming visit of USZ Racist Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to Pakistan as part of USZ agenda, has suggested that USZ should leave Afghanistan to avoid becoming a laughing stock. While talking to a private TV channel by telephone, Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan suggested that the USZ should leave from Afghanistan like Vietnam to avoid from becoming a laughing-stock.

Turkish Jets attack CIA backed Kurdish Terrorists in Northern Iraq
Turkish fighter jets have launched new attacks on the Pentagon funded and CIA recruited Kurdistan Workers’ Party’s (PKK) positions in Northern Iraq. The jets took off from the city of Diyarbakir in southeastern Turkey to launch the overnight raids on Thursday as part of Ankara’s intensified military campaign against the Pentagon led terrorist group. The development comes after Turkish forces headed into northern Iraq to attack PKK terror bases earlier in the day. The offensive came after a deadly attack by PKK elements with help from American Mercenaries killed 26 Turkish security forces and injured 22 more in the southeastern province of Hakkari late Tuesday. The cursed militants had entered Turkey from the mountains of northern Iraq.

Ankara has warned that it will take stronger measures against the Pentagon funded and CIA led Kurdish terrorist group for the deadly attacks. Turkish warplanes have bombed PKK strongholds in northern Iraq several times since August, killing between 145 and 160 of its members and operatives. Over 45,000 people in Turkey have lost their lives since PKK terrorists launched an armed campaign against Ankara in 1984 in a quest to force a separate pro-Israhell Kurdish state in southeastern Turkey. PKK elements launch their terror attacks from Iraq’s Qandil Mountains in areas under the control of Kurdistan Regional Government, led by President Massoud Barzani, where Israhelli elements and institutions are also known to be operating.

14 Conspiracies that the Media now admits are Facts
How many times have you heard people claim certain facts are just conspiracy theories? It’s the easiest way to dismiss information and deem people as ‘nut-cases’. Most of the time the ‘conspiracy theorist’ are right and the mainstream media is completely wro
ng! The media is not doing their job in investigating the real issues of our society and government… In today’s world where everything is a lie it’s very difficult to find the actual truth! Here are 14 conspiracy theories that the media now admits are facts:

#1 Fukushima Uninhabitable
Back in April, I published an article entitled “Much Of Northern Japan Uninhabitable Due To Nuclear Radiation?“ At the time, almost everyone in the mainstream media was insisting that Fukushima was nothing like Chernobyl and that those that lived near Fukushima would be able to return to their homes fairly soon.
Well, it turns out that those of us that feared the worst were right after all. Just consider the following quote from the New York Times….
Broad areas around the stricken Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant could soon be declared uninhabitable, perhaps for decades, after a government survey found radioactive contamination that far exceeded safe levels, several major media outlets said Monday.
#2 U.S. Military Attack On Libya
At the beginning of this year, nobody would have dreamed that the U.S. military would have attacked Libya this year.
But it happened. At first those that tried to warn about an upcoming conflict with Libya were called kooks, and even up until recently many in the media were still trying to deny that NATO was arming and training the rebels.
Well, the truth is that NATO had special forces on the ground even before the conflict began.
The “rebel groups” (which include large numbers of al-Qaeda fighters) would have been soundly defeated by Gaddafi if not for relentless air strikes by the U.S. military and NATO.
Instead of a straightforward invasion like we saw in Afghanistan and Iraq, the U.S. military and NATO systematically developed, trained and equipped “rebel groups” within the country and have used them as the ground forces for this campaign.
That way the goals of the U.S. and EU could still be achieved, but in the end they would have less blood on their hands.
As the conflict winds down, now even the New York Times is admitting that we have trained and equipped the rebels….
“We always knew there would be a point where the effectiveness of the government forces would decline to the point where they could not effectively command and control their forces,” said the diplomat, who was granted anonymity to discuss confidential details of the battle inside Tripoli.
“At the same time,” the diplomat said, “the learning curve for the rebels, with training and equipping, was increasing. What we’ve seen in the past two or three weeks is these two curves have crossed.”
Sadly, there is still a very good chance that U.S. troops could end up on the ground in Libya.
Many prominent officials are already calling for the U.S. and the EU to provide occupation forces. Richard Haas, the president of the Council on Foreign Relations, has authored an opinion piece for the Financial Times entitled “Libya Now Needs Boots on the Ground“.
If that happens, it will likely end up being a situation very similar to what we have today in Iraq.
#3 Widespread Use Of RFID Chips In Humans
The doubters said it would never happen. They said we would never see the day when RFID chips were implanted in humans on a widespread basis.
Well, today there are examples of this all over the world. One of the most stunning examples recently has come out of Mexico. According to the Washington Post, “thousands of worried Mexicans” have been having “satellite and radio-frequency tracking products” implanted in their skin in order to protect themselves against abduction.
#4 $2000 Gold
It was only a matter of months ago that we were told that gold was “in a bubble” at $1400 or $1500 an ounce.
Well, gold recently crossed the $1900 an ounce barrier, and appears poised to go much higher as global financial instability intensifies.
#5 Obama Wants To Impose Backdoor Amnesty
Those that warned that Barack Obama was going to impose amnesty for illegal immigrants by executive fiat were called “nuts” and “conspiracy theorists”.
Well, it has happened. The Obama administration has now instituted “backdoor amnesty” for illegal immigrants and even plans to provide them with work permits.
#6 U.S. Government Provides Weapons For Mexican Drug Cartels
For a long time there were those that claimed that the U.S. government was providing guns to Mexican drug cartels, but nobody wanted to listen.
Well, it is all now a matter of public record. It turns out that the U.S. government facilitated the transfer of thousands of guns into the hands of Mexican drug cartels.
The following is a brief excerpt from a CBS News report that discusses the fierce opposition that many ATF agents expressed to allowing thousands of guns to be given into the hands of the Mexican drug cartels….
On the phone, one Project Gunrunner source (who didn’t want to be identified) told us just how many guns flooded the black market under ATF’s watchful eye. “The numbers are over 2,500 on that case by the way. That’s how many guns were sold – including some 50-calibers they let walk.”
50-caliber weapons are fearsome. For months, ATF agents followed 50-caliber Barrett rifles and other guns believed headed for the Mexican border, but were ordered to let them go. One distraught agent was often overheard on ATF radios begging and pleading to be allowed to intercept transports. The answer: “Negative. Stand down.”
CBS News has been told at least 11 ATF agents and senior managers voiced fierce opposition to the strategy. “It got ugly…” said one. There was “screaming and yelling” says another. A third warned: “this is crazy, somebody is gonna to get killed.”
Amazingly, three of the key ATF officials involved in putting thousands of guns into the hands of Mexican drug cartels were recently promoted.
#7 Fluoride Is Harmful
Incredibly, the federal government is finally admitting that high levels of fluoride in our drinking water can be harmful. In fact, the feds have reduced the “recommended amount” of fluoride in our drinking water for the first time in 50 years.
We probably won’t see them ban fluoride any time soon, but for them to even acknowledge a problem with fluoride is a major step. In a recent article on CNN, it was reported that the federal government is now saying that high levels of fluoride in the water have now officially been linked with fluorosis….
The Department of Health and Human Services and Environmental Protection Agency are proposing the change because of an increase in fluorosis — a condition that causes spotting and streaking on children’s teeth.
#8 The Federal Reserve Favors The Big Banks
We were always told by the media that the Federal Reserve was “above politics” and that it did not show favoritism.
Well, we all know now that the Fed is deeply corrupt and about the only people that they actually help are their friends.
It turns out that the Federal Reserve very quietly showered the big banks and their friends with hundreds of billions of dollars in loans at rates that were substantially below market during the financial crisis. While Wall Street was being flooded with easy loans, none of the small banks that were deeply suffering and no average Americans got any money.
#9 Cell Phones Linked To Cancer
For years, “conspiracy theorists” have been claiming that cell phone use can cause cancer.
Well, the mainstream media is starting to catch up. Some very startling scientific studies have come out recently that are hard to ignore.
The following is an excerpt from a recent CNN article about one of these studies….
At the highest exposure levels — using a mobile phone half an hour a day over a 10-year period — the study found a 40 percent increased risk of glioma brain tumors.
#10 The Credit Rating Agencies Are Corrupt
We have all been taught that the credit rating agencies are supposed to be objective.
But in the real world things are not that simple.
For example, just a short time after long-term U.S. government debt was downgraded, the head of Standard & Poor’s is resigning, and is being replaced by Douglas Peterson, the former COO of Citigroup.
Do you think the former COO of Citigroup is going to come down hard on his former comrades over at the big Wall Street banks?
Also, a whistleblower has come forward with some stunning revelations about Moody’s. The following is what former analyst William Harrington says was going on over at that credit agency during the financial crisis….
“The track record of management influence in committees speaks for itself — it produced hollowed-out (collateralized debt obligation) opinions that were at great odds with the private opinions of committees and which were not durable for even a short period after publication”
#11 Prescription Drugs Kill A Lot Of Americans
Growing up, I never even imagined that prescription drugs could be dangerous. I had complete faith in the medical community and the government to only allow drugs on the market that were fully tested and proven to be 100% safe.
Well, I was dead wrong. The truth is that adverse reactions to prescription drugs kill a huge number of Americans every year. A recent Vanity Fair article entitled “Deadly Medicine” began with the following statement….
Prescription drugs kill some 200,000 Americans every year. Will that number go up, now that most clinical trials are conducted overseas–on sick Russians, homeless Poles, and slum-dwelling Chinese–in places where regulation is virtually nonexistent, the F.D.A. doesn’t reach, and “mistakes” can end up in pauper’s graves?
#12 Bisphenol-A Is Linked To Infertility
A very common chemical known as bisphenol-A is found in thousands upon thousands of our plastic products. It also turns out that it has some really nasty effects on the human body.
Fortunately, some in the mainstream media are beginning to acknowledge this. Back in October, one of the largest UK newspapers published an article entitled “Bisphenol-A now linked to male infertility” which made the following unequivocal statement about the dangers of BPA….
Bisphenol-A (BPA), known as the “gender bending” chemical because of its connection to male impotence, has now been shown to decrease sperm mobility and quality.
#13 The “Super Congress” Is In The Pocket Of Wall Street Interests
The amount of money that has been donated to the campaigns of those on the “Super Congress” is absolutely astounding.
Just check out what a recent CNBC article had to say about the matter….
Overall, according to the center’s research, the dozen super committee members have raised more than $50 million from the finance, insurance and real estate sector since the 1990 election cycle.
How much influence do you think 50 million dollars is going to buy?
#14 The Targeting Of Christian Groups
We are increasingly hearing from the Obama administration and some members of Congress that we need to be really concerned about “homegrown terrorists” and “Christian extremists”.
For example, during a recent Congressional hearing U.S. Representative Sheila Jackson Lee warned that “Christian militants” might try to “bring down the country” and that such groups need to be investigated.
In addition, according to a shocking document obtained by Oath Keepers, the FBI is now instructing store owners to report many new forms of “suspicious activity” to them. According to the document, “suspicious activity” now includes making “extreme religious statements” and believing in “radical theology”.
Not only that, a Department of Homeland Security report on “right wing extremism” from April 2009 lists the following people as potential terrorists….
-those that believe in “end times” prophecies
-those that believe abortion is wrong
-those that stockpile food, ammunition or weapons
-those that are against same-sex marriage
-those that believe in “New World Order” conspiracy theories
I don’t know about you, but when the federal government starts targeting people based on their religious beliefs, that makes me very nervous.
This world is officially going crazy. So don’t blame “conspiracy theorists” for wanting to dig around and get the facts. The mainstream media sure doesn’t give us much of the truth.
As the world continues to fall apart and as the propaganda from the mainstream media gets even more blatant, the hunger for the truth is only going to grow.

Who knows? Perhaps before it is all over you will be a “conspiracy theorist” too.
Wikileaks is a Rothschild Operation!
Rothschilds Use Wikileaks To Wound Rival Bank.
After being made famous, Julian Assange’s first task is to wound a rival bank of the Rothschild Bank in Switzerland. The rival is Bank Julius Baer, the top Swiss bank for centuries: the competing Rothschild Bank AG opened in Switzerland in 1968.
On January 17, 2011, Assange held a press conference at The Frontline Club where Rudolf Elmer, a former employee of Bank Julius Baer, gave Assange private files from the bank’s Cayman Islands’ operation. Elmer said he wanted to expose mass tax evasion before he flies back to Switzerland to stand trial for stealing information from a bank. Although Elmer has not named the tax evaders, he claims the CD files contain information about 40 politicians, many business people, multinational conglomerates and “people who have made their living in the arts.”

Rothschilds’ Swiss Bank Battles
Assange’s press conference was actually a public threat to Bank Julius Baer: Wikileaks first disclosed some of Elmer’s Julius-Baer material in 2008, naming ten clients. At the time, Julius Baer sued and got a court injunction to effectively shut down Wikileaks.org at its web host in California. Subsequently, the law firm Fox Rothschild represented Wikileaks, got the injunction overturned, and got Wikileaks.org back on line. Immediately, WL commenced leaking more of Elmer’s documents, which was damaging to Bank Julius Baer.
Bank JB got a lot of negative publicity from its attempt to censor the Internet. When JB lost the suit, their super-elite clients became fearful of being exposed and prosecuted for tax evasion and money laundering. Julius Baer shares dropped 60% during the next ten months. On Dec. 4, 2008, the 52-year-old CEO of Julius Baer, Alex Widmer, was unexpectedly found dead.

Wikileaks’ many other links to Rothschilds
The recent imprisonment of Wikileaks’ Julian Assange strains credulity. His arrest by Interpol, his incarceration under draconian conditions for breaking a condom are in themselves highly unlikely events, but the timing of his imprisonment with the release of classified US cables and the campaign against Wikileaks’ funding and website host bear the trademarks of a covert operation.
- a sister-in-law and second cousin of the Rothschilds posted bail for Julian Assange
- The Economist (a Rothschild magazine) gave Assange its New Media Award in 2008
- Wikileaks used the law firm Fox Rothschild to overturn a judge’s ruling to order a web host to shut down the Wikileaks site
- The Guardian and The New York Times, two of Assange’s media partners, are linked to the Rothschilds (PwP exclusive)
- the owner of the mansion where Assange was eventually put under house arrest has links to Rothschilds
- Assange’s lawyer is also Rothschilds’ lawyer
- US Senator Joe Lieberman who was ultimately responsible for making Assange the largest media personality of the decade, is a member of the Council On Foreign Relations (a Rothschild organization)
The Rothschilds are an international family of bankers at the centre of a web of wealthy families who control most the countries through a worldwide network of: privately-owned central banks (masquerading as federal banks), major news chains, trusts, councils, etcetera. An unnamed source has put their monetary worth near $100 trillion—dwarfing the net worth of the likes of Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, Ted Turner, etc.
No Country Sees Kashmir as India’s Internal Matter: Mirwaiz

Chairman Hurriyat Conference (M), Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, has said the international community‘s urgency to see the Kashmir resolved had reached an all-time high, leaving India with no choice but to take immediate steps for the settlement of the issue.
He said “no country in the world today sees Kashmir issue as India’s internal matter”.
Mirwaiz said vindication for the freedom-loving Kashmiris’ stand vis-à-vis the three interlocutors appointed by New Delhi on Kashmir. “When they were appointed a year ago, we termed the process as farce and time buying exercise, meant to prolong the settlement of Kashmir issue,” he said.
“We have seen these reports, recommendations and so-called interlocutors before,” he said referring to the report submitted by the interlocutors on Kashmir to Home Ministry.
“Kashmiris have made it clear that they don’t want anything short of right to self determination, neither autonomy nor self-rule. Besides, notwithstanding New Delhi’s integral part rhetoric at UN and other forums, no country in the world today sees Kashmir issue as India’s internal matter,” he said.
Mirwaiz said the “mass uprisings” of 2008, 2009 and 2010 had firmly established Kashmiris’ struggle for freedom as peaceful, meaningful and just at the international level.
“The world has realized that Kashmiris are fighting for their rights and the urgency to see the Kashmir issue resolved is at an all-time high level. It is time that India realized that it had failed to subdue the freedom struggle of Kashmiris through various experiments, ranging from brute force to economic and developmental packages,” he said.
“History bears witness that success of freedom struggle depends on clarity about the goal and determination. Thankfully, Kashmiris have shown both,” he said.
Mirwaiz said the Hurriyat had always been in favour of friendship between India and Pakistan but that was only possible if Kashmir issue was resolved according to the wishes and aspirations of Kashmiris.
Mirwaiz expressed concern over certain Ulema “spreading sectarian discord among people at the behest of government agencies”. “At a time when immorality, corruption, drug abuse and other social evils are growing by the day, we need to remain cautious against purchasable moulvis, muftis and ulema who are bringing disgrace to the name of Islam by dividing people over sectarian issue of secondary importance,” he said.
The APHC Chairman urged the pro-freedom leaders and common people to maintain consistency in achieving the goal of right of self-determination. “Since 1931, Kashmiris have witnessed many rulers and their rule. Still they are fighting for the right to self-determination. The goal will be achieved one day as the Kashmiris are expressing their full support to the movement,” he stated.
The Mirwaiz said that the Indian civil society too had started raising its voice for resolution of the dispute even as the lunatic elements and fascist bigots were trying to silence it. “The government of India is hiding the truth about Kashmir from its people but the way the members of civil society are raising their voices proves that existence of the issue can no longer be wished away,” he said.
Referring to the peaceful protests of the Kashmiri people between 2008 and 2010, the APHC Chairman said that these demonstrations had jolted the conscience of international community, which was evincing greater interest in resolving the long-pending dispute. He pointed out that the Kashmiri people wanted good neighbourly ties between Pakistan and India. “However, the relations between them cannot improve until the Kashmir dispute is resolved,” he asserted.
How to Bring Religious Harmony in Pakistan

INTRODUCTION:
The Christians, Muslims and Jews fighting and verbally abusing each other’s religions. Religions were communicated to mankind for two purposes; one is Human/God or Creature/Maker relationship and the other is Human/Human relationship. What we see now is humanity being divided into groups each is badmouthing the other and believe me; nothing good will come out of this. It is in no one interest to go back to religious wars and kill each other. If God wanted us all to be of one single faith don’t you think he could have done it? And while he’s at it why not make us all one race with the same skin colour and physical traits. The idea of civilization is to develop ourselves and cross the boundary of being different and know how to live together in harmony.
My topic is to give my point of view that how we bring religious harmony inPakistan. In my point of view there are so many causes or steps to bring religious harmony in the country. I’ll mention as much as I can:
RESPECT:
It is the most important factor in this regard. Means that if we respect the other religions prevailing by the minorities of the country then they will enjoy their lives in a better way and according to injunctions of their own religions and participate in the country welfare and do not disturb the peace of the country. They will respect our religion that is ISLAM and don’t offend it.
ADMIRATION:
It is also an important factor to bring religious harmony because if we admire the other religions which also exist in the country and don’t offend or punish their followers then they will also admire our religion as a true religion and don’t participate in activities opposite to other religions,
APPRICIATION:
Means that we appreciate other religions which are opted by the followers of that religions and don’t offend or regret these religions so that there is no conflict between two religions and their followers if we don’t do that then there will be a state of war in the country everyone will want that his religion will prevail in the country and no other religion is there and everyone will be enemy of the other religion.
FAITH
Means that every individual of society must have faith in his own religion and he has to live according to the injunctions of his own religion. If everyone has interest in his own religion then no one oppose the other religion and its follower just take into consideration that what is the teaching of his own religion? And he has a strong belief in his own religion.
SECTS CONFLICTIONS:
There is a lot of confliction between the followers of different sects in different religions For example
Shia-Sunni conflicts:
These sects belong to Islam and the followers of both sects oppose each other in prayers in teaching and in marriage also. There are so many international issues on these sects especially countries likeIraq,Syria, Lebanon Shia’s conceal there identity and live in separate neighborhoods. This type of practice is not seen inPakistanthey can live at any place with Sunnis also. They have no restriction to exercise their own practices they are free in this regard.
Catholics-Protestants conflicts:
These two sects belong to Christianity. They also have a lot of conflicts between them on the basis of their teachings, leadership, and attitude towards Bible. Like catholics favours Pop and consider him as a leader while Protestants follows the king. Catholics are strict towards Bible while Protestants are not like that they are lenient towards the laws and teaching of Bible.
Now to bring religious harmony this is essential that there must no sect’s conflict in the country because when these different sects oppose each other then they peace of the country cannot maintain in the country and a state of war is there between these different sects.
CONCLUSION:
According to my point of view if we will concentrate on these factors and overcome these problems then this will be a great support in the religious harmony of the country. Different jurists of different sects must collaborate with each other and change the opinion of the followers of their related sects. Thus everyone has to play a role to bring religious harmony only one person can’t do alone this act.
These steps have to avail by all the citizen of country to participate in this regard.
- Respect the followers of every other religion.

Dawa Hafiz Muhammad Saeed
blamed journalists of
supporting anti-jihad spirit in
Pakistan.
Talking to local officials of Vehari
and Multan, he blamed journalists
of being a part of foreign

binding upon all Muslims.

aware of the consequences of
becoming tools in foreign hands.

for the survival of Pakistan.
He appreciated his organisation’s
loyalty towards jihad. He also said
that the government has put no
check on the foreign intelligence
agencies who are continuously
trying to destroy Jamatud Dawa.
“In spite of all the pressure, we
will never lose heart and will
continue to defend and help
Muslims all over the world
specially the people of Pakistan,”
Saeed said.
Jamatud Dawa has been working

southern Punjab and to gather

The Tallest tree in the World (Science & Islam)

The height of the tallest tree in the world is 112meter; it is in the forests of California in the United States of America.
Scientists believe that age of this tree is more than one thousand year, the diameter of its trunk is more than three meters, and it looks like a building consisting of 37 floors.
But someone may say, where is the miracle in that creature? Here we have to ask a question, how can the water reach the height of 112 meter? What kind of pumps this tree is using? And from where does that tree get the needed energy to feed itself for more than 1000 year?
Allah almighty put the suitable methods to keep life of that tree and life of all creatures. He almighty put a very simple rule as without that rule all plants would die, that is the Surface tension of water. Water has a Tensile strength and it is able to climb through plant vessel to reach the top of the tree. There is another way to feed that tree by water which is withdrawing water from the air!
Allah almighty is the one who guaranteed the livelihood for His creatures and He had subjected all the methods to keep them alive. So, can Allah almighty forget a man who is asking and supplicating to Him? God says: (And so many a moving (living) creature carries not its own provision! Allah provides for it and for you. And He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.) (Sûrat Al-‘Ankabût- verse60).

What happens when you get stunned after realizing you were slowly and gradually burying yourself underground to the point that you choke yourself to death? Naturally you would start exasperating with full force to prevent self-immolation. Such is the case with the United States of America. This country of great people and equally greater devils has been at the mercy of its secret powerhouse of totalitarian bankers, corporate mafia, the military industrial complex and most importantly, the neoconservative warmongers who devise aggressive policies and hate-literature for sugar-coated evangelical Crusaders in the name of “War on Terror”. Its statesmen and officials have become so frustrated by a group of devout resistance leaders in Afghanistan that in reactionary panic they have resorted to bullying Pakistan, whom they once labeled as their close ally.
