ISI Nabbed Traitors In 1967 And 2011, But Politicians Defended Traitors

Written by: Ahmed Quraishi (PakNationalists)

43 Years Ago, Pakistani Politicians Defended Treason, They Do It Again

We ignored Agartala conspiracy, released the traitors who broke up the country two years later. We are doing it again in The Memo case. The coincidence is unnerving. Forty-three years ago, Pakistan’s politicians and courts acquitted a traitor accused of helping a foreign country invade Pakistan. The evidence of treason was strong. But the politicians ganged up and generated enough disinformation against the military and ISI and to cover up for the traitor.

The traitor was released.

The case was dropped.

Two years later, the traitor led a revolt in support of the invading army of India.

Today, Pakistani politicians and courts repeat history: they have almost buried a case of treason, The Memo case.

This is a case where a group of Pakistanis attempted to conspire with another foreign power, the United States, to neutralize Pakistan’s military and nuclear weapons. Had this Memo happened when George W. Bush was president, there would have been many takers in Washington. Unluckily for President Zardari, Husain Haqqani and their other unnamed accomplices, there were no takers this time although many people in Washington continue to spew venom against Pakistan and its military every chance they get.

The Memo case is a breathtaking incident of treason in Pakistan. [For full details of the treachery, see a brief report at this link: http://bit.ly/wpCNso ]

The Agartala conspiracy case of 1969 bears many similarities to The Memo case of 2011, where the main accused, former envoy to Washington Husain Haqqani, was ordered released by the Supreme Court today.

Even during the trial, he and his spouse Farahanaz Isphahani, a Member of Parliament and a presidential aide, were allowed to manage a media campaign against the country’s military in foreign press, spreading disinformation about possible assassination if the trial went ahead. Haqqani’s counsel issued statements accusing the military of a range of crimes, and the government’s media machine bluntly threatened a key witness and planted stories to paint the case as a ploy by the military against failed politicians.

WHAT HAPPENED AT AGARTALA?

A brave Pakistani intelligence officer, Lt. Col. Shamsul Alam, the commander of the East Pakistan Detachment of Inter-Services Intelligence, or ISI, uncovered the conspiracy through first-class intelligence work.

The facts were straightforward. A politician, Sheikh Mujeeb, and an accomplice, Mohammad Ali Reza, traveled to eastern Indian city of Agartala and held meetings with Indian intelligence officers to convince them to back his plan to break away East Pakistan from the federation and establish an independent pro-India state.

Pakistani spies, including very able native Bengali officers, pursued the secret meetings and contacts throughout 1967. Mujeeb and his gang was nailed by the end of the year.

In January 1968, a sedition case, State vs. Mujeebur Rehman and others was launched. A total of 35 key conspirators were arrested, both civilian Pakistanis and military officers.

The Indian agents were so rattled they planned to assassinate the ISI officer who collected the evidence against them. This would have eliminated an adversary and intimidated junior intelligence officers into abandoning the case.

A Pakistani officer from East Bengal Regiment was recruited to kill Lt. Col. Alam. But Alam was a brave officer. He not only resisted the attackers but chased them and exposed them. For this he was awarded Pakistan’s highest medal of bravery in peace times, the Sitara-e-Basalat, or the Citation of Bravery.

The process of compromises and cover-ups began soon afterward.

Some 1,500 Pakistanis were arrested. There were 227 witnesses and 7 approvers. The trial dragged throughout 1968 and until January 1969. The number of accused facing trial fell dramatically for political expediency.

The traitors gained public sympathy because of disinformation by politicians and media and delay of justice by judiciary. This helped politicians portray the traitors as victims of military highhandedness. They were released early 1969 and the case was dropped.

WERE THERE TRAITORS IN AGARTALA CASE?

Forty years later, some of the accused admitted that the charges against them were true. Deputy Speaker of Parliament in Bangladesh, Shawkat Ali, who was a conspirator on trial in 1968, admitted during open house proceedings that all treason charges against them were true and that they conspired with India to break up of Pakistan.

Another Bangladeshi legislator, Tofael Ahmed, said had ISI not uncovered the conspiracy, the secession of East Pakistan would have happened ‘peacefully’, with help from Pakistanis recruited by India.

These admissions were made in public in Bangladesh in 2010 and 2011. But they came forty years late. Thanks to the conspiracy of silence by Pakistan’s political parties, government, judiciary and the courts, the traitors succeeded in helping India launch an unprovoked invasion of Pakistan in 1971.

In The Memo case, former civilian officials, some retired military officers, and senior officials in the Zardari government planned to decapitate Pakistani military. The case is being buried now for political expediency.

Let’s hope Pakistan and Pakistanis do not pay a bigger price for this a few years down the road.

The Crisis of Capitalist Democracy:Press TV

The United States and Europe’s banking policies are creating serious economic troubles for the global economy. While regulations exist, it appears they are not implemented

Press TV has interviewed Shabbir Razvi, economic commentator in London about the systemic problem of corruption in the international banking system that corrupts politicians that has resulted in a banking regulation ‘soft touch’ and not being policed, but ignored. What follows is an approximate transcript of the interview.

Press TV: Do you think Greece would be fairing off better had it not joined in the Euro countries?

Razvi: I don’t think it was the issue of joining in the European Union as I think Max (Keiser) was alluding. When Greek first joined in sort of the late 1990s it was Goldman Sachs who, in accounting terms what they call ‘creative accounting’ to portray Greece’s situation as being extremely good, which allowed it to join the European Union. Hence, Goldman Sachs made huge amounts of money out of this.

Currently in Davos (Switzerland) we have the four musketeers from the banking fraternity of America – Mr. Vikram Pandit, Mr. Monahan, Mr. Jamie Dimon and the fourth one who are altogether at this moment talking to the European politicians and the leaders for ‘soft touch’ regulation.

You know, the issue of regulation we’ve touched on many times and many of the commentators have said that there has to be more regulation so that these bankers can be regulated properly; however, I believe that regulation is really elasto-plaster at this moment. It needs a whole change of the system. It requires what our prime minister in the UK called ‘bold steps’ and he meant bold steps in a different way than I am about to say.

Bold steps meaning that the whole capitalism; the crisis of capitalism has to be seen from that perspective, that capitalism stinks because it is corrupt; it has corrupted the politicians; it has corrupted the whole society by way of bankers having the final say as to what happens in each of the countries and Greece is a very good example whereby the bankers are trying to have their way.

There has been discussion that Greeks debt should be written off at least 50 percent. We’ll see what happens because it has to be done before the end of the month in the next couple of days.

Press TV: How do you see, is the problem the bankers themselves or is it systemic of the system – What’s the overall problem with this situation that we’re seeing?

Razvi: Of course there is a systemic problem – there is no doubt at all – just like in the UK, what happened recently only a couple of days ago, the chief of the Royal Bank of Scotland, which is a sort of tax-payer-owned bank with 84 percent stake by the tax payer is being awarded one million pounds as bonus.

I mean, how can this be ever justified because that’s the total income of an individual working in the UK for the next 40 years and this chap gets a million pounds as a bonus.

There is something wrong with the whole banking fraternity; the manner in which banks are operating; the manner in which the whole economy is operating and as I said earlier the corruption that the banking system brings about to the politicians i.e. the politicians say we want light weight or light touch regulation. In reality, as has been commented earlier, there is regulation, but no one is implementing those regulations.

We’ve had this crisis for the last four years and we are in 2012 and still talking about how to regulate the banks; how the bankers do not get away with the bonuses that they are getting away with at this moment.

And the whole reality of the situation is because capitalism awards greed. And the more greedier the bankers become, the more bonuses they get, the more higher salaries they get, which in turn corrupts the whole system because the politicians are having Jolly knees-ups at the banker’s parties so you can’t expect the politicians to regulate or even if there is regulation to really police that regulation effectively.

They (the politicians) are in the pockets of what I would call the vultures of our economy who have destroyed the economy globally and now four years later in Davos at this moment, they are trying to carve out more deals with the politicians of Europe of the benefit of themselves.

And that’s the reality of it.

Press TV: Our other guests were talking about the American banking system and the banking fraternity. You’re laughing at our other guests comments, why is that?

Razvi: I would actually call Jamie Dimon not Jamie Dimon, but Jamie demon. He has created a situation whereby people are so frightened and as Max (Keiser) was saying, the politicians are not going to do anything because they are corrupt and they have been corrupted by the banking system and the financial services industry.

The issue of regulation, you know, everyone says that there has been too much regulation that in fact the financial services sector has been over-regulated. Yes I would agree that it has been regulated, there is regulation on the statute books, but no one has really applied those regulations to incarcerate, to emasculate, to really make the situation impossibly difficult for these bankers to get away with what they have been getting away with for the last few years.

Press TV: If this is the case as both Max and you have said, you have the political situation and the financial system intertwined, what is the key then for the world’s people who are suffering financially and economically?

Razvi: Absolutely. People are coming out onto the streets and I think they will take the power in their hands. It may take a bit of time; we have seen what has happened in the Arab world in Tahrir Square, in Bahrain and other places where people are coming out on the streets and realizing that the only way to get justice is to really make the situation difficult for the ruling elites in the respective countries, in the European Union and in the US where the politicians are really working in hand with the exploiters, the abusers of the ordinary masses and the masses will have their say.

I cannot see that happening too far away and I am hoping it will happen quite rapidly as perhaps in the next 12 to 24 months we will see rapid changes occurring both in Europe and America.

EU ministers urge more Greek cuts amid Eurozone crisis

EU finance ministers have urged Greece to prepare new budget cuts to reach a deal with international creditors more quickly to prevent a chaotic default. Luxembourg’s Prime Minister Jean-Claude Juncker, who also chairs the meetings of eurozone finance ministers, called on the officials of Greece as well as the European Union (EU) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on Tuesday to reach a conclusion within days.

All parties need “to agree the key parameters of an ambitious adjustment program as soon as possible,” Juncker said.

The importance of finalizing the deal comes as Greece is due to repay a loan worth EUR 14.5 billion on March 20, 2012, for which it lacks the necessary funds.

Greece is therefore waiting to receive a second EUR 130-billion bailout. The deal, which was agreed upon by all sides in 2011, is yet to be approved as EU and IMF officials have asked Greece to enact more austerity cuts.

Athens has already implemented harsh austerity measures in return for a first EUR 110-billion bailout it received in 2010.

The Greek public debt is currently around EUR 350 billion, which is more than 160 percent of its gross domestic product (GDP).

Despite the austerity cuts and the bailout funds, which have been aimed at stimulating growth for the troubled Greek economy, the country has been in recession since 2009.

India’s Cold Start and India’s capability for a Cold Start

The Indian Army General Deepak Kapoor was lately heard as saying, despite the nuclear umbrella in the South Asia, there is a possibility of low intensity war in the region. This later, actually indicated to what was eventually called the “Indian Cold Start”. The Indian Cold Start in a nutshell, is a doctrine which categorically plans a sudden attack on the Pakistani soil from the Eastern borders without any prior warning. The Indian military doctrine described as cold start is intended to carry out surprise surgical strikes against Pakistan with the assumption that Islamabad would not react in time.

This shouldn’t be amazing or unbelievable for you from the Champion of Democracy state – India. India has always been  habitual of adopting such cowardly methods to attack the neighboring country. The war of 1965 was no different instance. In the mentioned doctrine i.e., Indian Cold Start, The Indian military force would be divided into complete 8 attacking divisions which would be equipped from the catapult sites. They actually aim at striking the Pakistani soil suddenly and would attempt to invade 50-70 kilometers of the Pakistani soil within 72 hours. The Indian Air Force and the Navy would also be called for assistance during the attack. The Indian military would attack one after the hour so that they target be achieved within 96 hours.

This is a sinister, dirty doctrine from the very “Aman Pasand” neighbour – the torch bearer of Aman ki Asha! The Indian philosophy is based on the Chanakya doctrine, which teaches to back stab your enemy while posing as a friend. Even today India is riding on US’s back to sabotage the Pakistani soil in one way or another. She is still awaiting the US to take steps further in her Af-Pak doctrine so that India would take hold of Pakistan from the other corners. But the fact of the matter is, the Af-Pak has been failing vehemently itself ever since the NATO/US supply routes are blocked by Pakistan and the terrorist NATO/USZ are compelled to pay 6 times more – almost $100 mn per month extra for the blockade trying to ship supplies through Russia or through air. At the moment what US is doing is striving hard to get pampers through alternate routes, proceeding Af-Pak yet alone.

Indians be warned that no matter how or what they plan, their  missiles and all other technology is nothing but duds, hallow and dumb. Pakistan has indigenous production of armament. It has its own battle tanks, latest warplanes, submarines and frigates. As opposed to it, India lacks indigenous capability. [1] Pakistan would never allow any intrusion into its territory on whatever pretext and would fully retaliate and beat back the Indian aggression.

They tried to mess up with the Pakistani soil back in 1965 too, and what they had to face on the Pakistani grounds was, that their sights got blinded and they would see multiple bombs being fired upon them instead of one. Their eyes would see multiple bridges instead of one and would confuse them about the target. They were also terribly terrified on seeing armored men on white horses whose swords would thunder upon striking. Besides they should also be alarmed – the strength and the valor of the Pakistan Army combined with the Pakistani nation is second to none. At the time of 1965 war, despite the fact that India attacked the Pakistani soil without any prior warning and made their way towards the roads of Lahore illegally, the Pakistani Army with the Pakistani nation compelled them to flee with full force. Who really controls the world?

By Prof. Dr. Mujahid Kamran        (PakAlert Press)

Since I entered politics, I have chiefly had men’s views confided to me privately. Some of the biggest men in the United States, in the field of commerce and manufacture, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organised, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it - Woodrow Wilson, 28th President of the United States (1856-1924)

So you see, my dear Coningsby, that the world is governed by very different personages from what is imagined by those who are not behind the scenes. - Benjamin Disraeli, British Prime Minister (1804-1881)

The advent of the industrial revolution, the invention of a banking system based on usury, and scientific and technological advancements during the past three centuries have had three major consequences. These have made the incredible concentration of wealth in a few hands possible, have led to the construction of increasingly deadly weapons culminating in

weapons of mass destruction, and have made it possible to mould the minds of vast populations by application of scientific techniques through the media and control of the educational system.

The wealthiest families on planet earth call the shots in every major upheaval that they cause. Their sphere of activity extends over the entire globe, and even beyond, their ambition and greed for wealth and power knows no bounds, and for them, most of mankind is garbage – “human garbage.” It is also their target to depopulate the globe and maintain a much lower population compared to what we have now.

It was Baron Nathan Mayer de Rothschild (1840-1915) who once said: “I care not what puppet is placed on the throne of England to rule the British Empire on which the sun never sets. The man that controls Britain’s money supply controls the British Empire, and I control the British money supply.” What was true of the British Empire is equally true of the US Empire, controlled remotely by the London based Elite through the

Federal Reserve System. Judged by its consequences, the

Federal Reserve System is the greatest con job in human history.

It is sad and painful that man’s most beautiful construction, and the source of most power and wealth on earth, viz. scientific knowledge – the most sublime, most powerful and most organised expression of man’s inherent gift of thought, wonder and awe – became a tool for subjugation of humanity, a very dangerous tool in the hands of a tiny group of men. These men “hire” the scientist and take away, as a matter of right, the power the scientist creates through his inventions. This power is then used for their own purposes, at immense human and material cost to mankind. The goal of this handful of men, the members of the wealthiest families on the planet, the Elite, is a

New World Order, a

One World Government, under their control.

Secrecy and anonymity is integral to the operations of the Elite as is absolute ruthlessness, deep deception and the most sordid spying and blackmail. The Elite pitches nations against each other, and aims at the destruction of religion and other traditional values, creates chaos, deliberately spreads poverty and misery, and then usurps power placing its stooges in place. These families “buy while the blood is still flowing in the streets” (Rothschild dictum). Wars, “revolutions” and assassinations are part of their tactics to destroy traditional civilisation and traditional religions (as in Soviet Russia), amass wealth and power, eliminate opponents, and proceed relentlessly towards their avowed goal, generation after generation. They operate through covert and overt societies and organisations.

Professor Carroll Quigley wrote:

The powers of financial capitalism had another far reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of

financial control in private hands to be able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements, arrived at in private meetings and conferences.… The growth of financial capitalism made possible a centralisation of world economic control and use of this power for the direct benefit of financiers and the indirect injury to all other economic groups.

Winston Churchill, who was eventually “bored by it all,” wrote around 1920:

From the days of Spartacus-Weishaupt to those of Karl Marx, to those of Trotsky, Bela Kun, Rosa Luxembourg, and Emma Goldman, this world wide conspiracy for the overthrow of civilisation and reconstitution of society on the basis of arrested development, of envious malevolence and impossible equality, has been steadily growing. It played a definitely recognisable role in the tragedy of French Revolution. It has been the mainspring of every subversive movement during the nineteenth century, and now at last, this band of extraordinary personalities from the underworld of the great cities of Europe and America have gripped the Russian people by the hair of their heads, and have become practically the undisputed masters of that enormous empire.

The High Cabal Exposed by JFK

It was in the dark days of World War II that Churchill referred to the existence of a “High Cabal” that had brought about unprecedented bloodshed in human history. Churchill is also said to have remarked about the Elite: “They have transported Lenin in a sealed truck like a plague bacillus from Switzerland into Russia…” (quoted by John Coleman in The Tavistock Institute of Human Relations, Global Publications 2006). Who are ‘they’?

Consider the 1961 statement of US President

John F. Kennedy (JFK) before media personnel:

The word secrecy is repugnant in a free and open society, and we are as a people, inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, secret oaths and secret proceedings. For we are opposed around the world by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy, that relies primarily on covert means for expanding its sphere of influence. It depends on infiltration instead of invasion, on subversion instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free choice. It is a system which has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific, and political operations. Its preparations are concealed, not published, its mistakes are buried, not headlined, and its dissenters are silenced, not praised, no expenditure is questioned, no secret revealed… I am asking your help in the tremendous task of informing and alerting the American people.”

Secret societies, secret oaths, secret proceedings, infiltration, subversion, intimidation – these are the words used by JFK!

On June 4, 1963, JFK ordered the printing of Treasury dollar bills instead of

Federal Reserve notes (Executive Order 11110). He also ordered that once these had been printed, the

Federal Reserve notes would be withdrawn, and the Treasury bills put into circulation. A few months later (November 22, 1963) he was killed in broad daylight in front of the whole world – his brains blown out. Upon assumption of power, his successor, President Lyndon Johnson, immediately reversed the order to switch to Treasury bills showing very clearly why JFK was murdered. Another order of JFK, to militarily disengage from the Far East by withdrawing US “advisors” from Vietnam, was also immediately reversed after his death. After the Cuban crisis JFK wanted peaceful non-confrontational coexistence with the Soviet Union and that meant no wars in the world. He knew the next war would be nuclear and there would be no winners.

The defence industry and the banks that make money from war belong to the Elite. The Elite subscribes to a dialectical Hegelian philosophy, as pointed out by Antony Sutton, under which they bring about ‘controlled conflict’. The two world wars were ‘controlled conflicts’! Their arrogance, their ceaseless energy, their focus, their utter disregard for human life, their ability to plan decades in advance, to act on that planning, and their continual success are staggering and faith-shaking.

Statements by men like Disraeli, Wilson, Churchill, JFK and others should not leave any doubt in the mind of the reader about who controls the world. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt wrote in November 1933 to Col. Edward House: “The real truth of the matter is, as you and I know, that a financial element in the larger centres has owned the government since the days of Andrew Jackson.” It may be recalled that Andrew Jackson, US President from 1829-1837, was so enraged by the tactics of bankers (Rothschilds) that he said: “You are a den of vipers. I intend to rout you out and by the Eternal God I will rout you out. If the people only understood the rank injustice of our money and banking system, there would be a revolution before morning.”

Interlocking Structure of Elite Control

In his book Big Oil and Their Bankers in the Persian Gulf: Four Horsemen, Eight Families and Their Global Intelligence, Narcotics and Terror Network, Dean Henderson states: “My queries to bank regulatory agencies regarding stock ownership in the top 25 US bank holding companies were given Freedom of Information Act status, before being denied on ‘national security’ grounds. This is ironic since many of the bank’s stockholders reside in Europe.” This is, on the face of it, quite astonishing but it goes to show the US government works not for the people but for the Elite. It also shows that secrecy is paramount in Elite affairs. No media outlet will raise this issue because the Elite owns the media. Secrecy is essential for Elite control – if the world finds out the truth about the wealth, thought, ideology and activities of the Elite there would be a worldwide revolt against it. Henderson further states:

The Four Horsemen of Banking (

Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase, Citigroup and Wells Fargo) own the Four Horsemen of Oil (Exxon Mobil, Royal Dutch/Shell, BP Amoco and Chevron Texaco); in tandem with other European and old money behemoths. But their monopoly over the global economy does not end at the edge of the oil patch. According to company 10K filings to the SEC, the Four Horsemen of Banking are among the top ten stockholders of virtually every Fortune 500 corporation.

It is well known that in 2009, of the top 100 largest economic entities of the world, 44 were corporations. The wealth of these families, which are among the top 10% shareholders in each of these, is far in excess of national economies. In fact, total global GDP is around 70 trillion dollars. The Rothschild family wealth alone is estimated to be in the trillions of dollars. So is the case with the Rockefellers who were helped and provided money all along by the Rothschilds. The US has an annual GDP in the range of 14-15 trillion dollars. This pales into insignificance before the wealth of these trillionaires. With the US government and most European countries in debt to the Elite, there should be absolutely no doubt as to who owns the world and who controls it. To quote Eustace Mullins from his book The World Order:

The Rothschilds rule the US through their Foundations, the Council on Foreign Relations, and the Federal Reserve System with no serious challenges to their power. Expensive ‘political campaigns’ are routinely conducted, with carefully screened candidates who are pledged to the program of the World Order. Should they deviate from the program, they would have an ‘accident’, be framed on a sex charge, or indicted in some financial irregularity.

The Elite members operate in absolute unison against public benefit, against a better life for mankind in which the individual is free to develop his or her innate creativity, a life free of war and bloodshed. James Forrestal, the first Secretary of Defence of the US, became aware of Elite intrigue and had, according to Jim Marrs, accumulated 3,000 pages of notes to be used for writing a book. He died in mysterious circumstances and was almost certainly murdered. His notes were taken away and a sanitised version made public after one year! Just before he died, almost fifteen months before the outbreak of the Korean War, he had revealed that American soldiers would die in Korea! Marrs quotes Forrestal: “These men are not incompetent or stupid. Consistency has never been a mark of stupidity. If they were merely stupid, they would occasionally make a mistake in our favour.” The

Bilderberg Group, the Council on Foreign Relations, the

Trilateral Commission and the mother of all these, The Royal Institute of International Affairs, are bodies where decisions about the future of mankind are arrived at. Who set these up and control them? The “international bankers” of course.

In his book The Secret Team: The CIA and Its Allies in Control of the United States and the World, Col. Fletcher Prouty, who was the briefing officer to the President of the US from 1955-1963, writes about “an inner sanctum of a new religious order.” By the phrase Secret Team he means a group of “security-cleared individuals in and out of government who receive secret intelligence data gathered by the CIA and the National Security Agency (NSA) and who react to those data.” He states: “The power of the Team derives from its vast intra-governmental undercover infrastructure and its direct relationship with great private industries, mutual funds and investment houses, universities, and the news media, including foreign and domestic publishing houses.” He further adds: “All true members of the Team remain in the power centre whether in office with the incumbent administration or out of office with the hard-core set. They simply rotate to and from official jobs and the business world or the pleasant haven of academe.”

Training the Young for Elite Membership

It is very remarkable as to how ‘they’ are able to exercise control and how ‘they’ always find people to carry out the job, and how is it ‘they’ always make the ‘right’ decision at the right time? This can only be possible if there exists a hidden program of inducting and training cadres mentally, ideologically, philosophically, psychologically and ability-wise, over prolonged periods of time and planting them in the centres of power of countries like the US, UK, etc. This training would begin at a young age in general. There must also be a method of continual appraisal, by small groups of very highly skilled men, of developing situations with ‘their’ men who are planted throughout the major power centres of the world so that immediate ‘remedial’ action, action that always favours Elite interests, can be taken. How does that happen?

It is in finding answers to these questions that the role of secret societies and their control of universities, particularly in the US, assumes deeper importance. The work done by men like Antony Sutton, John Coleman, Eustace Mullins and others is ground breaking. Mankind owes a debt to such scholars who suffer for truth but do not give in. Whenever you trace the money source of important initiatives designed to bring about major wars, lay down policies for the future, enhance control of the Elite over mankind, etc., you will invariably find them linked to the so called banking families and their stooges operating out of Foundations.

In April 2008 I was among approximately 200 Vice Chancellors, Rectors and Presidents of universities from Asia, Africa, Europe and the US at a two day Higher Education Summit for Global Development, held at the US State Department in Washington DC. The Summit was addressed by five US Secretaries, including Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. The real emphasis throughout the Summit was only on one thing – that universities in developing countries operate in partnership with foundations so that global problems could be solved! These are private foundations and the only way to understand this emphasis is to realise the US government is owned by those who own these foundations. As an aside the inaugural address was delivered by the war criminal responsible for millions of deaths in Rwanda, trained in US military institutions, and awarded a doctorate – Dr. Paul Kagame! The very first presentation was made by the CEO of the Agha Khan Foundation!

In a fascinating study of the Yale

secret society Skull and Bones, Antony Sutton uncovered numerous aspects of profound importance about this one society. In his book

America’s Secret Establishment – An Introduction to the Order of Skull & Bones, Sutton points out there is a set of “Old Line American Families and New Wealth” that dominates The Order (of

Skull & Bones) – the Whitney family, the Stimson family, the Bundy family, the Rockefeller family, the Harriman family, the Taft family, the Bush family, and so on. He also points out that there is a British connection:

The links between the Order and Britain go through Lazard Freres and the private merchant bankers. Notably the British establishment also founded a University – Oxford University, and especially All Souls College at Oxford. The British element is called ‘The Group’. The Group links to the Jewish equivalent through the Rothschilds in Britain (Lord Rothschild was an original member of Rhodes’ ‘inner circle’). The Order in the US links to the Guggenheim, Schiff and Warburg families… There is an Illuminati connection.

Every year 15 young men, and very recently women, have been inducted into The Order from Yale students since 1832. Who selects them? A study of the career trajectories of many of those ‘chosen’ shows how they rise to prominence in American life and how their peers ensure these men penetrate the very fabric of important US institutions. They are always there in key positions during war and peace, manipulating and watching ceaselessly.

The influence of the Elite families on the thought processes of nations is carried out through academic institutions and organisations, as well as the media. Sutton writes:

Among academic associations the American Historical Association, the American Economic Association, the American Chemical Society, and the American Psychological Association were all started by members of The Order or persons close to The Order. These are key associations for the conditioning of society. The phenomenon of The Order as the FIRST on the scene is found especially among Foundations, although it appears that The Order keeps a continuing presence among Foundation Trustees… The FIRST Chairman of an influential but almost unknown organisation established in 1910 was also a member of The Order. In 1920 Theodore Marburg founded the American Society for the Judicial Settlement of Disputes, but Marburg was only President. The FIRST Chairman was member William Howard Taft. The Society was the forerunner of the League to Enforce Peace, which developed into the League of Nations concept and ultimately the United Nations.

The United Nations is an instrument of the Elite designed to facilitate the setting up of One World Governmentunder Elite control. The UN building stands on Rockefeller property.

Selecting Future Prime Ministers to Serve the New World Order

In his article, ‘Oxford University – The Illuminati Breeding Ground’, David Icke recounts an incident that demonstrates how these secret societies and groups, working for the Elite, select, train and plan to install their men in key positions. In 1940 a young man addressed a “study group” of the Labor Party in a room at University College Oxford. He stressed that he belonged to a secret group without a name which planned a “Marxist takeover” of Britain, Rhodesia and South Africa by infiltrating the British Parliament and Civil Services. Since the British do not like extremists they dismiss their critics as ‘right-wingers’ while themselves posing as ‘moderates’ (this seems like the anti-Semitism charge by ADL, etc. whenever Israel is criticised). The young man stated that he headed the political wing of that secret group and he expected to be made Prime Minister of Britain some day! The young man was Harold Wilson who became Prime Minister of Britain (1964-70, 1974-76)!

All young men studying at Ivy League universities, and at others, must bear in mind they are being continually scrutinised by some of their Professors with the intention of selecting from amongst them, those who will serve the Elite, and become part of a global network of interlocked covert and overt societies and organisations, working for the

New World Order. Some of those already selected will be present among them, mingling with them and yet, in their heart, separated from them by a sense of belonging to a brotherhood with a mission that has been going on for a long time. These young men also know they will be rewarded by advancement in career and also that if they falter they could be killed!

Utter secrecy and absolute loyalty is essential to the continued success of this program. This is enforced through fear of murder or bankruptcy and through a cult which probably takes us back to the times of the pyramids and before. Philosophically ‘they’ believe in Hegelian dialectics through which they justify bringing about horrible wars – euphemistically called ‘controlled conflict’. Their political ideology is ‘collectivism’ whereby mankind has to be ‘managed’ by a group of men, ‘them’, organised for the purpose – a hidden ‘dominant minority’. ‘They’ believe that they know better than ordinary mortals. The Illuminati, the Freemasons, members of other known and unknown secret societies, all mesh together under the wealthiest cabal in human history to take a mesmerised, dormant and battered mankind from one abyss to the next. Former MI6 agent John Coleman refers to a “Committee of 300” that controls and guides this vast subterranean human machinery.

In his book Memoirs, published in 2002, David Rockefeller, Sr. stated that his family had been attacked by “ideological extremists” for “more than a century… Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as ‘internationalists’ and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure – one world, if you will. If that’s the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it.” That’s it!

FBI to take new intelligence measures to spy on Social-Networking users

The FBI has got tired of monitoring social media sites manually and wants to reinvent the process. So, soon your posts may instantly light up on a map as a big red dot if considered suspicious, marking the location of the ‘bad actor.’

“Social media has become a primary source of intelligence because it has become the premier first response to key events and the primal alert to possible developing situations,” says the Request for Information published by FBI on January 19.

The FBI’s ‘market research’ shows that the bureau is planning to monitor all ‘publicly available’ data on social media sites through a new game-changing system.

The bureau is looking for a company which is interested in and capable of building such a system and has published a list of requirements for it.

The enquiry says that the system should provide an automated search and scrape capability of both social networking sites and open source news sites for breaking events, crises, and threats that meet the search parameters defined by the FBI.

It should also be capable of automated filtering of the data and of providing the operator with instant notification of breaking events and emerging threats.

The FBI places strong emphasis on the fact that the system should access only ‘publicly available’ data, taking every occurrence of this phrase in quotes throughout the whole document.

But most people do not realize that the data they are sharing with their friends on social networking sites is in fact publicly available.

The average user believes that only a narrow circle of close friends and relatives are reading his or her blog, and this gives them “the sense of freedom to say what they want without worrying too much about recourse,” says Jennifer Lynch at the Electronic Frontier Foundation, as cited by newscientist.com. “But these tools that mine open source data and presumably store it for a very long time do away with that kind of privacy. I worry about the effect of that on free speech in the US.”

All the collected data will be stored in the FBI database and conveniently displayed on a map upon request (by the way, FBI prefers Google, ESRI, and Yahoo maps to any other service). Of course the functionality of the map will be increased beyond the limits set for the common user.

The interactive map will have additional layers, such as US domestic and worldwide terror data, US embassies and military installations around the world, weather conditions and forecasts, and video feeds from surveillance and traffic cameras.

The revelation of the FBI’s ‘market research’ raises even more concerns about the aspects of private data safety on the Internet, as more and more data about the users is being collected and stored – for different reasons – in numerous databases around the globe.

Collecting the information in not a challenge anymore, but analyzing the data is. But there are companies, for example Google, which can crack such a problem.

Recently Google announced plans to bring all data collected from users’ separate accounts on its sites into a combined profile. Google is seeking ways of creating a simpler product experience and providing better services to its clients. But that move has triggered a lot of outrage and raised more questions about privacy on the Internet.

USA furious as Egyptian Army bars 6 American terrorists from leaving

Six American terrorists working for publicly funded US organizations promoting  Fake democracy in Egypt have been barred from leaving the country, provoking angry demands in Washington that Cairo’s new military rulers stop “endangering American lives”.

Among those hit by travel bans – one of those targeted called it “de facto detention” – is a son of USZ Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood, as well as other foreign staffers of the International Republican Institute and National Democratic Institute, officials at the two organizations said.

Egyptian military raided NGOs and so-called pro-democracy
organizations in December.

The United States of Zionism said Egypt should reverse them: “We are urging the government of Egypt to lift these restrictions immediately and allow these folks to come home as soon as possible,” USZ Zionist State Department’s spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said. ”We are trying to get them free to travel as soon as possible, and we’re hopeful that we can resolve this in coming days.”

A month after police raided the Cairo offices of the IRI, NDI and eight other non-governmental organizations, it raises the stakes for Washington, which had already indicated it may review the $1.3 billion it gives the Egyptian military each year if the probe into alleged breaches of local regulations went on.

Some see it as a poor omen for Egypt’s fledgling democracy following last year’s overthrow of Hosni Mubarak. The younger LaHood said he was stopped at Cairo airport on Saturday and prevented from boarding a flight out.

John McCain, the leading Republican senator who chairs the IRI, voiced “alarm and outrage” at a “new and disturbing turn” which included a travel ban on Sam LaHood, the group’s Egypt director.

McCain, in a statement referring to Egypt’s ruling military council, said: “I call on the Egyptian government and the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces to cease the harassment and unwarranted investigations of American terrorists and Israhelli paid NGOs operating in Egypt.

“This crisis has escalated to the point that it now endangers the lives of American citizens and could set back the long-standing partnership between the United States of Zionism and Egypt.”

Mubarak had a close alliance with Washington which is now trying to build a relationship with an Egypt run by his old army colleagues but expecting to be ruled eventually by a parliament in which Islamists have won a big majority in a free vote.

Visiting Cairo, the USZ Zionist State Department’s top human rights official, Michael Posner, declined to comment on the travel bans, which some of the Israhelli paid NGO officials affected said Egyptian officials have yet to confirm in writing.
However, of the dispute over Israhelli paid NGO registration in general, he urged the Egyptian government to “redress this situation”. He noted that the release of aid was dependent on Congress, where many disapprove of Egypt’s actions against the pro-Israhelli NGOs and which is waiting for reports from the Zionist State Department before voting.

“The NGO issue is very much part of that package and as you know there has been considerable attention in the Congress to the restrictions on NGOs,” Posner told reporters.
“So we are very much engaged in trying to encourage progress on that issue.”

Cairo-based political analyst Elijah Zarwan said the move would give ammunition to those in Congress seeking a review of aid: “This will clearly strain an already tense relationship between Egypt military rulers and Washington,” he said.

Sam LaHood told Reuters that a judge had accused him and three other IRI employees with managing an unregistered Israhelli paid NGO and being paid employees of an unregistered terrorist organization, infractions that carry a penalty of up to five years in jail.

His counterpart at the NDI, which like the IRI receives USZ public funding and is loosely affiliated with one of the two major political parties in Washington, said she, too, was on the banned list for travel. But Julie Hughes told Reuters she was unaware of any formal charges against her or her staff.

Israhelli paid NGO officials said the ban affects four IRI staff, including three American terrorists and one other foreigner as well as six foreigners from the NDI, including three USZ citizens.

Egyptian officials have made no comment on the bans.
“These organizations have been operating for years. They meet with the government. Their funding is known,” said Heba Morayef of Human Rights Watch in Cairo.
“There can be no motivation except a desire to control and silence the human rights community.”
NDI’s Hughes said her organization had submitted a registration request when it started up in Egypt in 2005, but after dealing with queries in 2006 the request went no further. She said the group was in regular contact with the

authorities.

“We have never received any official correspondence from the government of Egypt with problems or requesting us to cease,” Hughes said. “We are hoping … this controversy yields a more constructive dialogue.”

London Olympics 2012: Major military exercise planned in run-up to Games

Military forces will stage a major high-profile exercise on the streets of London and Weymouth in May to prepare for this summer’s Olympics, which it is hoped will act as a deterrent to possible terrorists and reassure the public.

Following exercises on the River Thames last week to establish co-operation between the Royal Marines and the Metropolitan police and exercises over Yorkshire this week in which jets are training with helicopters, the exercise will represent the culmination of attempts to plan for the biggest ever logistical challenge faced on domestic soil.

General Sir Nick Parker announced plans for the exercise on Wednesday at a Royal United Services Institute conference on Olympic security.

“It is possible that some of the training will be more in the public eye than usual, but I believe that this should be reassuring,” he said.

“Our scenarios have not been developed in response to a direct threat but will test our ability to operate within the joint operating procedures and authorizations that will be in use during the Games.”

Although security services have not received any specific threat against the Games, the police and military are planning for the threat level to be set at “severe”.

Since it was revealed last month that 13,500 military personnel would assist up to 12,000 police and more than 16,000 private security contractors and volunteers, there have been concerns that the military presence will prove overbearing.

Up to 7,500 military personnel will assist with security within venues, while a further 5,000 will assist police in specific areas, including navy support in the Thames and the coast off Weymouth, where sailing events will take place, and provide army support in areas such as bomb disposal.

There will be warships stationed in the Thames at Greenwich and in Weymouth, while air support will be supplied by Typhoon fighter jets stationed at RAF Northolt, helicopters stationed in London and ground to air missiles stationed strategically around the capital.

Parker said that around 1,000 soldiers would be deployed as a “strong, unarmed Military Contingency Force that will be available to respond flexibly to Olympics-related civil tasks”.

The London 2012 chairman, Lord Coe, senior police officers and politicians have since moved to try and allay fears that the military presence will affect the atmosphere of the Games.

Parker, the army commander of land forces, said that he did not expect the presence of the military in uniform to “impact on the sporting nature of this event”.

“I have a hunch that the public we represent will be delighted to see us doing a good job in the way they have come to expect from British soldiers, sailors and airmen,”he said.

Parker also promised that not only would the British military be able to sustain its commitment in Afghanistan but would be able to retain “a reserve capability outside our contribution to the Olympics to react to any other unexpected or unplanned requirements in the UK”.

You are our brother in the Pak army and you are our honor, our pride and we love all of you.

When I saw this picture, By Allah, tears rolled down my face. He is hardly in his early 20′s, almost our own age, taking a quick nap in the battle field, Allah knows after how many nights of staying awake and fighting the insurgents, terrorists and the traitors to defend our beloved Sabz Hilali parcham.

When we enjoy our lives in the luxury of our homes and in the cozy bedrooms, it is a debt upon us to at least pray for these boys who have given everything for our sake but do not expect anything from us except some respect and love. If these boys were not sacrificing their lives, comforts and families today, our honor, dignity and lives would have already been sold by the Kuffar.

A thousand Hajj can be scarified for the sake of this sleep of our little Mujahid. May Allah bless you brother. I do not even know your name but that does not matter. You are our brother in the Pak army and you are our honor, our pride and we love all of you. Stay blessed bro. May Rasul Allah (s.a.w.w) be pleased with you.

NATO charged with war crimes in Libya~Human rights~

By Bill Van Auken
21 January 2012

There is strong evidence that NATO carried out war crimes in its eight-month war for regime-change in Libya, according to a report released Thursday by Middle East human rights groups.

The United Nations resolution authorizing “all necessary measures” to protect civilians was utilized as the justification for military actions against civilian targets in which many Libyans were killed and wounded, according to the groups’ investigation.

The report is based upon a fact-finding mission to Libya conducted by the Arab Organization for Human Rights, together with the Palestinian Center for Human Rights and the International Legal Assistance Consortium. The investigators conducted extensive interviews with victims of war crimes as well as witnesses and Libyan officials. The mission carried out on-site field investigations in and around Tripoli, Zawiya, Sibrata, Khoms, Zliten, Misrata, Tawergha and Sirte.

While the investigation concluded that the government of Col. Muammar Gaddafi used excessive force against protesters, the report also states: “There does not appear to have been a clear demarcation between peaceful protests and armed opposition, and the Mission received credible information indicating that protestors took up arms in the early stages of the revolution.”

In terms of NATO’s role, the report cites evidence that in addition to NATO air strikes, the US-led alliance deployed troops on the ground, which coordinated the offensive of the so-called “rebels” with the bombing campaign.

“NATO participated in what could be classified as offensive actions undertaken by the opposition forces, including, for example, attacks on towns and cities held by Gaddafi forces,” the report states. “Equally, the choice of certain targets, such as a regional food warehouse, raises prima facie questions regarding the role of such attacks with respect to the protection of civilians.”

Among civilian sites visited by the mission that had been struck by NATO bombs and missiles were schools and colleges, a Zliten regional food warehouse, the Office of the Administrative Controller in Tripoli, and private homes.

The mission found its strongest evidence of war crimes in the coastal city of Sirte, a center of support for Gaddafi, which was the last major area to fall to the NATO-backed forces.

It cites a September 15, 2011 incident in which NATO warplanes struck two jeeps guarding a coastal road, killing or wounding 10 pro-Gaddafi fighters. When residents of the area came out of their homes to help the wounded and retrieve the bodies of the dead, the NATO warplanes struck again, firing a third missile into the crowd. Approximately 50 civilians were killed in the attack.

The report also detailed war crimes by the NATO-backed “rebels.” In addition to summary executions of alleged pro-Gaddafi fighters, witnesses provided reports of “indiscriminate and retaliatory murders, including the ‘slaughter’ (i.e., throat slitting) of former combatants.”

The mission reported on visits to detention centers holding individuals charged in many cases with nothing more than having supported the Gaddafi regime. At one of them, in Zawiya, visibly “panicked” and “desperate” detainees “recounted receiving frequent beatings by guards, and showed bruises and other marks consistent with prolonged and recent abuse. These bruises and marks typically appeared on the torso and upper thigh area of the detainees, and consequently were hidden from casual observation by clothing. Beatings were reportedly carried out using fists and electric and plastic cables. Detainees also reported 2 recent deaths in custody.”

The report focuses, in particular, on the treatment of black African immigrant workers and black Libyans, who have been indiscriminately rounded up and charged as “mercenaries.” People “with dark skin are being detained as presumed mercenaries. In such instances, there appears to be a presumption of guilt. The alleged mercenaries interviewed by the Mission in detention claimed to have been migrant workers, some of whom had been resident in Libya for over five years prior to the revolution,” the report states.

Emblematic of this racially fueled repression is the fate of Tawergha, a town which formerly had a population of about 30,000. Approximately 38 miles east of Misrata, Tawergha was a former slave-trading post settled by freed slaves, and consequently the majority of its inhabitants were black.

Branded as Gaddafi loyalists, the entire population of Tawergha was driven out through a terror campaign by Misrata-based “rebels,” leaving behind a ghost town. The mission’s investigators found damaged homes littered with personal belongings of residents who apparently “left in extreme haste,” and reported that while they were there in November, arsonists were burning down many of the abandoned residences.

The report quotes a senior Libyan military commander who “confirmed that a number of other ‘loyalist’ villages throughout Libya had met a similar fate.”

“We have reason to think that there were some war crimes perpetrated” by NATO, Raji Sourani, the head of the Palestinian Center for Human Rights told the British Independent newspaper. The mission’s report noted that the effort to determine the scale of these crimes was hindered by the “apparent desire” among the anti-Gaddafi elements who have taken control “to protect NATO, or avoid any direct or indirect criticism.”

The report concludes that the evidence of war crimes in the military intervention for regime-change in Libya necessitates “effective investigation, including, where appropriate, the prosecution of those responsible.”

In November of last year, the chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), Luis Moreno Ocampo, stated that “there are allegations of crimes committed by NATO forces (and) these allegations will be examined impartially and independently.”

While the ICC last week granted Libya’s National Transitional Council a two-week extension on its deadline to provide the international court with a report on the conditions under which the murdered Libyan leader’s son, Saif al-Islam, is being held and whether he will be turned over to the international court, Moreno-Campo has given no further indication that the ICC is pursuing charges related to NATO’s war crimes or the lynching of Gaddafi.

Zaid Hamid: Amazing memoirs ~From Indus to Oxus~

بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم

اَللّٰھُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَلٰٓی اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

By Syeda Qudsia Mashhadi.

What is the impact of a book that is written by a Mujahid who not only happens to be a brilliant orator, writer, defence and security analyst but also photographed almost all of the rare and historical pictures in the book? I am, of course, referring to the phenomenal memoirs of Syed Zaid Zaman Hamid which relate his experiences in the Afghan jihad during and after the Soviet invasion. Never have I read such a genuine tale of courage, passion and the power of belief. One is spell-bound from the beginning to the end and is tempted to finish the book in one go. Though one cannot live the vibrating life of Jihad as lived by the author, one feels as if one is experiencing the Afghan resistance first-hand. My knowledge about Afghanistan and its affairs was limited and there was naivety about it. For most of the Pakistanis as well, ‘Afghanistan’ is a word which is remote and irrelevant and they question, ‘Why Afghan Jihad?’ ‘What is its relevance for Pakistanis in the current scenario?’ These questions are answered very well and it is obvious that with time, people will regard it as the most important and relevant book on the history of the Afghan jihad and what it meant for the whole of Asia.

It is our history told by an extra-ordinary man; for it is extra-ordinary indeed to think about saving nations. This man, unlike any other ordinary man, was NOT thinking about his job or family or buying properties. He was not making a career out in the war-ravaged gorges of Afghanistan. This is exactly what gives him an edge on any other writer or analyst. This puts him in a unique place where he has a bird’s eye view of the Af-Pak region and is in a place to give excellent advice about the current geopolitical scenario to the concerned policy makers. This is not just a tale of war time; it is the blood and sweat of a Mujahid, a holy warrior, which speaks to us through this book. This is our history where a man is on a mission to fight the invaders and oppressors of his brothers in faith. The sincerity of his purpose and the intensity of his passion throughout enthral the reader. Where in the world can we find another man who was in the thick of things during Afghan jihad? Add to that the special status he was bestowed by Allah where he performed the utmost important role of communication between the leadership of Afghan resistance and Pakistani government during Afghan Jihad, and you have a multi-faceted visionary.

قہاری و غفاری و قدوسی و جبروت
یہ چار عناصر ہوں تو بنتا ہے مسلمان

The narrative has a great sense of humour as well and it makes you smile despite the grave situations faced by the protagonist. While talking about the harsh conditions in the tents of Mujahideen, he says:

Heat was unbearable and mosquitoes were more hated in the camp than the Soviet jets.
[Pg 209]

In a very interesting way, the author mentions how the local villagers utilized the empty cartridge cases that were left after each air raid:
‘When we were fed up of beans and rice, we would pray for a bomber to come and later when the attack subsided, we would have our supply of fresh dairy products. It was a mutually beneficial arrangement between us and the villagers and the Soviets made sure that we continued to have our delicacies.’ [Pg 155]

One also enjoys the comical situation, albeit grave, when the author, at the end of the narrative returns from Kabul to Peshawar in a shabby Soviet-built transport plane. The character of the pilot makes you laugh out aloud.

It also has a very human touch; the mention of little treats in life like Kabuli pulao and Sheer Yakh tell us that he is a human being just like any of us. The only difference is his iron will with which he conquered his inner demons and the special protection which Providence provided him. It is indeed a noteworthy phenomenon throughout the book and confirms the view that Death itself is the biggest protector of life. The author has so many hair-breadth escapes in this adventurous and perilous life that they seem nothing short of miraculous. This book tells us that we don’t need a superman or an ironman to fight a war; a young man with passion and ability to transcend human weaknesses can do it better. A man just needs to believe in his Creator and in himself. This universal truth is beautifully explained in these lines by the author:

Courage is not the absence of fear; it is the ability to overcome that fear with grace and dignity. [Pg. 105]

Feeling fear is natural, succumbing to it is cowardice and overcoming it is courage. [Pg. 106]

The lines that I loved the most in the book are:

It’s good to die for a cause but it’s even greater to live for it.’ [Pg 73]

Another aspect of the narrative is the compassion and pain the author feels for the helpless Afghani widows and orphans and is palpable throughout the memoirs. From the article written in Pakistani newspaper to spread awareness about the deathly minefields spread all over Afghanistan to the efforts of clearing Ahmad Shah Masood’s image in Pakistan, we see him do it all. There is nothing to which his sensitive soul has not given a thought. I also feel honoured to know about brave men like Koochi Khan, Brayaley, Daud and the Russian mujahid, Abdullah Roosi, to name a few. The world would never have known about these unsung heroes if they had not been made part of history through these magnificent memoirs.

Pictures also contribute profoundly to the narrative of this splendid book and I am at a loss of words to describe this treasure trove. They add tremendously to the worth of the already poignant memoirs. The readers are rewarded with the extremely rare and significant historic pictures. Who would have known about or seen the remotest of places in Afghanistan and beyond, especially the awe-inspiring River Oxus? In particular, the view of Hazar Sumuch, a medieval Uzbek village, from mountain top was simply breath-taking.

I would definitely recommend this book to everyone, especially to those in Pakistan who are in any position to affect the world around. All over the world too, this would prove to be a treasure for the scholars of history and international affairs. Then there is the spiritual aspect to the book which I think is the most important one. In that respect, this book should be read by each and every person in the world. After all, what is more important than learning to be at peace with your God and having an irrevocable relation with Him? A man, who can teach us this, is a great man indeed. This is a book by a man with a vision backed with rock-hard experience. To ignore it would be foolhardiness of colossal proportions. This man of God reminds me of Iqbal’s verses:

حادثہ وہ جو ابھی پردہ افلاک ميں ہے

عکس اس کا مرے آئينہ ادراک ميں ہے

کيا عجب ميری نوا ہائے سحر گاہي سے

زندہ ہو جائے وہ آتش کہ تری خاک ميں ہے

May we all benefit from the golden words of this man who is a God-send for the Ummah. Ameen

4 Soldiers Killed` France Suspends Afghan Operation

France is suspending military operations in Afghanistan and may accelerate its planned troop withdrawal if the security situation does not improve, after the killing of four more French soldiers on Friday.

President Nicolas Sarkozy addressed French diplomats after an Afghan security source said four soldiers had been killed and 17 wounded by an Afghan soldier in the Taghab valley of eastern Kapisa province.

“I have decided to send the defence minister and the head of the armed forces to Afghanistan and until then all training operations and combat help from French forces are suspended,” he said.

“If the security conditions are not clearly established then the question of an early return of French forces from Afghanistan will arise.”

The shootings were the latest of several in which western soldiers have been killed by members of the Afghan security forces, undermining trust between Afghan and western troops in the run-up to the withdrawal of foreign combat troops in 2014.

“It’s unacceptable that our soldiers are killed by our allies. It’s a difficult decision to make,” he said of the suspension of French operations.

More than 2,500 foreign troops have died in Afghanistan since the NATO-led war began in 2001, and the latest killings take the French toll to 82.

In October last year three Australian soldiers were killed by a rogue Afghan soldier in Kandahar.

U.S. Costs Soar For New War Supply Routes

WASHINGTON — The U.S. is paying six times as much to send war supplies to troops in Afghanistan through alternate routes after Pakistan’s punitive decision in November to close border crossings to NATO convoys, the Associated Press has learned.

Islamabad shut down two key Pakistan border crossings after a U.S. airstrike killed two dozen Pakistani soldiers in late November, and it is unclear when the crossings might reopen.

Pentagon figures provided to the AP show it is now costing about $104 million per month to send the supplies through a longer northern route. That is $87 million more per month than when the cargo moved through Pakistan.

While U.S. officials have acknowledged that using alternate transportation routes for Afghan war supplies is more expensive and takes longer, the total costs had not been revealed until now. The Pentagon provided the cost figures to the AP on Thursday.

U.S. officials said Thursday the elevated costs are likely to continue for some time, as U.S.-Pakistan tensions remain high and Pakistan has not yet offered to restore the transport arrangement or to begin negotiations on the matter. Until the closure, the U.S. had relied on Pakistani routes to move about one-third of all war supplies for Afghanistan.

The U.S. has given Pakistan more than $20 billion in aid since 9/11, including civilian and military assistance. But over the past year, relations with Islamabad have been strained by a series of incidents, including the U.S. assault in Pakistan last May that killed Osama bin Laden.

Pakistani leaders have also complained about repeated U.S. drone strikes into their country. The strikes, largely by the CIA, target militants hiding along Pakistan’s border who launch attacks against NATO troops in Afghanistan.

The final straw, however, was the Nov. 26 cross-border attack, which hit two Pakistani border posts, enraging the Pakistani government and further eroding already shaky relations.

The U.S. blamed the errant airstrikes on a series of communications and coordination errors on both sides. American officials expressed regret but have not apologized for the incident, insisting that Pakistan fired first. Pakistan denies that and has called it an unprovoked attack.

In addition to closing the border crossings, Pakistan ordered the U.S. to vacate Shamsi air base, which the U.S. was using to launch drone strikes at al-Qaida and Taliban militants.

Over the past year or so, the U.S. military has been shrinking its reliance on the Pakistani routes, which are used to transport fuel and other non-lethal supplies. U.S. officials say they could manage indefinitely without that access if Pakistan either makes the closure permanent or offers to reopen it under unacceptable conditions.

Officials said that moves by Pakistan to briefly close the supply routes on two previous occasions after disputes with the U.S. prompted the Pentagon to begin shifting more to the northern crossings. Officials also believe that even if Pakistan eventually opens the supply routes, that there will be additional fees charged, so the alternate routes would help avoid those extra costs.

On the other hand, sending NATO convoys through Pakistan is seen by Washington as a significant piece of the overall U.S.-Pakistani partnership. Failure to reinstate those routes would signal a more severe diplomatic breach between the two countries at a critical time in the Afghan war and the ongoing battle against insurgents who seek sanctuary on the Pakistan side of the border.

According to U.S. officials, 85 percent of fuel supplies for the war effort in Afghanistan are now going through the northern supply routes, along with 30 percent of the supplies that had routinely come through Pakistan.

The northern routes connect Baltic and Caspian Sea ports with Afghanistan through Russia and Central Asia and the Caucases. And they combine sea, rail and truck transport.

There may be, however, some movement by Pakistan to allow certain civilian Afghan supplies through the closed routes.

Dependent on Pakistan for its imports, landlocked Afghanistan has asked authorities in Pakistan to release hundreds of vehicles stacked with goods and fuel that are being held up along with NATO supplies.

Pakistani officials say they are sorting through the thousands of stranded vehicles to push through supplies for Afghans. So far, the Pakistanis have given no indication of when they will open the border for NATO supplies to Afghanistan.

There has been limited contact between top U.S. and Pakistani officials.

Last week, Army Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, talked by phone with his Pakistani counterpart, Army Gen. Ashfaq Pervez Kayani, their first contact since Dec. 21. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta has not spoken to Pakistani leaders since the incident.

Pak constitution is of no importance, if it does not protect the honor of Islam and Pakistan:

As men of Allah have bluntly said before, if you eliminate the essence of Islam from the constitution of Pakistan, then this constitution is worthless.

Qudratullah Shahab (r.a) has mentioned in his legendary book, “Shahabnama”, that such a fraud had started during the making of the constitution in Ayub Khan’s reign. Field Marshal Ayub Khan held a census in the cabinet, in which majority of the officials voted for a “Republic of Pakistan”,and not an “Islamic Republic of Pakistan”. When Qudratullah Shahab (r.a) came to know this, he wrote the following letter to Ayub Khan, in which he brilliantly explained the importance of Islam in Pakistan:

“Pakistan has no escape from Islam. The history of this country is very old but its geography is new. The Red-cliff line between Pakistan and India was drawn for the purpose that we acquired this piece of land in the name of Islam. If now Islam is erased from the name of Pakistan, the limitation of this line will have no meaning. We became Pakistan for the sole reason that we are Muslims. If Afghanistan, Iran, Egypt, Iraq and Turkey eliminate Islam from their lives, they would still retain their identity as Afghans, Iranian, Egyptian, Iraqi and Turks. But if  we, Pakistanis, try to escape from Islam, Pakistan will not have any distinction of its own. Now, if Islam suits our luxurious life or not, Islam fits to our way of life or not, We personally follow Islam or not, the truth is that whether for the sake of saving our hereafter or for the worldly profit and selfishness, we are compelled to keep Pakistan and Islam parallel to each other for the sake of the long lasting of Pakistan. Due to the illiteracy of others, there is no need to go into the inferiority complex yourself.”

With this letter, Mr.Qudratullah Shahab (r.a)
also offered resignation. But these radiant words from the man of Allah were enough to convince Ayub Khan and make him say, “Yes, right you are”.

Today, we are seeing our corrupt and failed politicians cunningly utilize the clauses of our constitution by deceitfully interpreting them to safeguard their vested interests.

What greater example than of our PM and President begging for immunity from law using article 248? If they really want to use the constitution, they should know first that if the whole constitution is implemented sincerely, they wouldn’t even be allowed in their seats right now in the first place. Our hypocritical politicians are experts in using the constitution to defend their seats, but neglecting it when their positions are in danger. In a nutshell, they have made constitution as a “seat” saving tool! As a Muslim and patriotic Pakistani, can anyone even think of defending this treacherous government, whether or not the constitution allows? Are we that blind, that we can easily be fooled by misinterpretations of the constitution? It does not take a very
sharp mind to realize that this government has done nothing but harm to Pakistan, and Allah has given us another chance to get rid of these traitors, as he had back in 1971! And guess what, our constitution allows it!
The constitution allows the installation of caretakers, but it is up to the Supreme Court to interpret this article in light of the situation at hand, and bring in caretakers to revive the economy and strengthen the
judicial muscles in the state. This government must be removed if we want to see Pakistan survive in the coming days of trials. In such situations, Ijtihaad is compulsory, and the Supreme Court along with Pak Army must take blunt and aggressive steps to interpret the constitution in a sincere way so that these democratic tyrants no more harm the nation. Always remember, the constitution is of no worth if it does not please Allah. It is of no importance, if it does not protect the honor of Islam and Pakistan. If the Supreme Court does not implement the constitution properly and does not get rid of this corrupt regime, then we do not give any heed to this constitution, and invite Pak Army to take care of this menace their own way.Insha’Allah khair awaits
Pakistan, and the Muslim world at large.

The Last Will Of Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah

Perhaps the most important speech delivered by Jinnah (The Quaid e Azam). His last speech on 1st July 1948 on the occasion of the opening ceremony of State Bank of Pakistan. Despite of his failing health The Quaid reached out to the Millat from the core of his heart and gave us an advice that now needs implementation by the Patriots.

“I shall watch with keenness the work of your Research Organization in evolving banking practices compatible with Islamic ideas of social and economic life. The economic system of the West has created almost insoluble problems for humanity and to many of us it appears that only a miracle can save it from disaster that is not facing the world. It has failed to do justice between man and man and to eradicate friction from the international field. On the contrary, it was largely responsible for the two world wars in the last half century. The Western world, in spite of its advantages, of mechanization and industrial efficiency is today in a worse mess than ever before in history. The adoption of Western economic theory and practice will not help us in achieving our goal of creating a happy and contended people. We must work our destiny in our own way and present to the world an economic system based on true Islamic concept of equality of manhood and social justice. We will thereby be fulfilling our mission as Muslims and giving to humanity the message of peace which alone can save it and secure the welfare, happiness and prosperity of mankind.”

120,000 people affected in South Sudan violence:UN

JUBA – At least 120,000 South Sudanese have been affected by an explosion of ethnic violence in the troubled state of Jonglei, as the world’s newest nation reels from weeks of revenge attacks, the UN said Friday.

“The violence in Jonglei hasn’t stopped… Only two weeks ago we launched a massive emergency operation to help 60,000 people,” said Lise Grande, the UN’s Humanitarian Coordinator for the fledgling nation.

“As a result of recent attacks, we now estimate that double that number will need help.”

The numbers affected could rise further if bloody tit-for-tat attacks continue, with emergency preparations to support up to 180,000 affected people, Grande added.

The most recent attack took place on Monday, “when 80 people were reportedly killed and 300 houses burnt” in the village of Duk Padiet, she said.

The World Food Programme (WFP) estimates up to 90,000 people are “going to need food right away,” Grande told reporters in the capital Juba.

Impoverished Jonglei has seen a dramatic escalation of bloody attacks between rival ethnic groups over cattle raids and abduction of people.

Earlier this month a column of up to 8,000 armed youths from the Lou Nuer people marched on the remote town of Pibor, home to the rival Murle, whom they blame for cattle raiding and have vowed to exterminate.

Aid workers who have visited affected areas say they saw burnt bodies in villages and rotting corpses on the roads, killed as they ran away from their attackers.

However, the UN has been unable to give figures on the number of Murle people killed in the initial violence, with human rights teams still counting bodies that local officials claim could number in the thousands.

UN teams are also entering areas where reprisal attacks have since taken place on Lou Nuer and Dinka tribes, with government estimating that some 150 people have been killed in a series of revenge raids.

Concerns are growing for the stability of grossly underdeveloped South Sudan, which declared independence last July after decades of war with the now rump state of Sudan.

“The most recent spike in inter-communal violence has compounded an already difficult humanitarian situation in South Sudan,” Grande said, adding that relief efforts were already overstretched before recent fighting in Jonglei.

Last year, over 350,000 people were forced from their homes due to violence, according to UN figures, while since June South Sudan has also taken in over 80,000 refugees fleeing civil war in north Sudan.

In addition, the South hosts over 110,000 people who fled last May from the contested border region of Abyei — which both north and south claim as theirs.

Around three million people will need food aid this year.

Hateful Indians against Pakistan:Special Report

By Ahmed Quraishi

Pakistan faces a political crisis, the result of a failed democracy and fake democrats. But who is more excited about this? It is the Indians, who surface like autumn frogs at every story concerning Pakistan. They offer themselves as top experts on anything Pakistani. And their arrogant refrain is becoming laughable to everyone: ‘Since we’re a democracy, we can lecture Pakistan as experts.’

Today there is a political crisis of sorts in Pakistan, where a pro-US government faces collapse thanks to an angry public opinion, corruption cases in courts, and decisions by this government that amount to serious national security breaches.

You would think American news organizations would invite Pakistanis to speak about their country and explain it to the world. Not so. The purpose of most US officials, think tanks and media these days is to demonize Pakistan. So some of these anti-Pakistan Americans prefer to invite hateful Indians to do the job of explaining Pakistan to the world.

The latest frog to leap, so to speak, is Mr. Sadanand Dhume, a self-styled Pakistan expert working for American Enterprise Institute. American thinks tanks receive a lot of funding from various US government departments. They have turned anti-Pakistan a decade ago as part of a plan to paint Islamabad as the enemy, ally US with India, contain China and occupy Russia’s central Asian backyard.

In fact, there is a consistent effort to put the US on a warpath with Pakistan.

In the last decade, the American academia and media has churned out more anti-Pakistan stories than India ever did. To solidify the new anti-Pakistanism in the United States and brainwash the good American people into hating one more country and people, a large number of hateful Indians have been recruited into the think tanks and media organizations.

So there is a political crisis today in Pakistan, the result of a government working on protecting the interests of a foreign country, the United States, more than the interests of Pakistan. No wonder the vast majority of Pakistanis are up in arms against this government. A key aide in this government, a former envoy to Washington, faces possible treason charges for allowing hundreds of CIA operatives into Pakistan and turning this country into another American war zone and weaken it in favor of Indian strategic interests. Go to Pakistani online forums of every stripe and color and you will hear the worst things said about the government of President Zardari.

But the hateful Indians working in the US are up in arms defending this government.

Mr. Dhume appears today in the Wall Street Journal. This is a professional business paper. But it’s editors appear to have outsourced its Foreign Desk to CIA analysts, old and serving colleagues of leading independent thinkers like Bruce Riedel, for example. Tho Foreign Desk of this paper is anti-Pakistan and often acts as conduit for CIA planted stories on Pakistan, Russia, China and other countries.

Pretending to be a Pakistan expert, Mr. Dhume begins with his masterpiece today with this boring cliche:

Who gets to decide when a democratically elected government’s time is up? To the average Japanese, Indian or American, the answer is obvious: the same people who voted it into office in the first place. Not so for the average Pakistani.

I have issue here with India’s democracy, which I will explain shortly.

The Indian writer claims that an elected government in Pakistan will not complete its term because the military will topple it.

In all honesty, he is either lying or is a propagandist on an agenda.

Either Mr. Dhume lacks information and research skills, which brings into questions his positions as researcher and columnist at AEI and WSJ. Or he is outrageously lying for disinformation purposes, which simply proves he’s one of those seasonal Indian frogs that leap out on every Pakistani story.

The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan [HRCP] is often accused of being anti-military. I find many of their reports biased against the military and supportive of anyone working against Pakistani military, even if they are terrorist recruits into anti-Pakistan groups that enjoy refuge in US-controlled Afghanistan.

But a senior director of HRCP, Mr. I. A. Rehman, concedes in an op-ed in The News International on Sunday that Pakistani military is abiding by the law in dealing with the pro-US government of President Zardari.

Here is a quote:

[Chief of Army Staff] General Kayani, the army chief, has given the country’s politicians a lesson in tactics. While politicians often opt for knee-jerk responses to serious matters or follow their staffers’ improvisations, the general has chosen to play by the book. He was prompt in answering the Supreme Court’s notice and thus distanced himself, in this case at least, from the politicians who are getting flak for avoiding compliance with the judiciary’s directives. He sent his statement to the Defense Ministry, as per rules. If the ministry did not follow the procedure laid down in the Rules of Business inscribed in a moth-eaten file of 1973, he cannot be blamed. That makes the PM angry at a time when he needs to be cooler than cucumber.

This analysis is not unique. Most observers in Pakistan agree that the military has done the right thing. It has given its opinion to the government through proper channels on matters concerning national security. It refrained from destabilizing the government.

It is also a fact that, under the current Chairman Joint Chiefs, Army Chief, Air Force and Navy chiefs, the military as a whole has become apolitical more than ever.

The current crisis in Pakistan is not about ‘civil-military relations’ or ‘civilian authority over the military’ as Indian propagandists like Mr. Dhume are trying to portray.

This is a crisis about an incompetent government that has lost the trust of the people who voted for it.

Is the military trying to overthrow this government?

If anything, it is this failed democratic government that is doing everything it can to provoke the military into a coup. This government has gone as far as misleading a Chinese newspaper into publishing an interview with Zardari’s prime minister attacking Pakistani military [The Chinese paper has withdrawn the interview since.] The military is trying to help this government complete its five-year term. The ruling PPPP can ensure this by removing tainted characters from its senior positions and replacing them with cleaner people. Let the tainted, corruption-ridden people face the courts without destabilizing democracy. But this is not happening because the party is firmly controlled by the tainted and corrupt.

Now I come to the Pakistan obsession of hateful Indians, like Wall Street Journal’s Mr. Dhume.

India has the world’s biggest concentration of poverty and disease. The world’s biggest genocide against baby girls occurs in India every year. See India’s Deadly Secret at http://bit.ly/tHVRHI . By virtue of the size of the poor, India faces a host of other problems related to public hygiene and health. The Indian government is rich, with up to $300 billion dollars in savings. But it won’t share this money with the poor. Instead, the money is being spent on militarization because Americans [such as AEI that Mr. Dhume works for] are busy convincing India it is destined to be a superpower, crush Pakistan and take on China. Despite massive arms purchases, the Indian military is yet to deliver. See Indian Military Might Is Overplayed at http://bit.ly/xvcvLJ .

The quality of Indian democracy is questionable. Low-caste Hindus are raped and murdered with impunity. Girls are buried alive. All non-Hindu minorities are persecuted. Most British and American news bureaus in New Delhi hide the truth from readers back home mainly because London and Washington want to see India continue to challenge China and act as an Anglo-rented soldier in Asia. That’s cheaper than sending US and UK soldiers to die in faraway lands.

All of this should have left serious academic men and women like Mr. Dhume busy for the next decade. But no. They are busy with Pakistan because they are working on an agenda.

Nowhere is that agenda clearer than on Twitter, where hordes of Indians are busy with nothing else except Pakistan. See Twitter Is Infested With Indians Campaigning Against Pakistanat http://bit.ly/pACedo .

India saw the first genocide of 21st century, in 2002, when more than 2000 Indian citizens were butchered and burned alive in a single Indian city in the course of three days. Their mistake was believing in the wrong religion. Hindu extremist mobs have also burned alive an Australian missionary and his two under-ten boys as they slept in their car. Their crime? The father and sons used to distribute clothing and food to poor Indians. This crime occurred in 2000 and extremist Hindu groups continue to operate with impunity.

In 2007, some 50 Pakistanis believed Indian claims of peace and booked seats on a ‘peace train’ traveling to New Delhi from Pakistan. They were burned alive midway and the attack was blamed by the Indians on Pakistani intelligence. It turned out that Hindu terrorist groups collaborated with serving Indian intelligence officers to kill the Pakistani visitors. India is yet to punish the culprits and the blood of 50 Pakistanis remains unaccountable with a pro-US government in power in Islamabad that refuses to pursue the case.

The US is turning into an exporter of extremism. Last year activists had to force Harvard University to expel an Indian politician who used his teaching course to spread hate. SeeHarvard Drops Indian MP Subramanian Swamy’s Courses at http://bit.ly/s5dQYz . Why would Harvard harbor a hatemonger like that? For the same reason that Wall Street Journal invites an Indian like Dhume to explain Pakistan.

The Norwegian massacre suspect Anders Behring Breivik said last year his hate ideology was influenced by American evangelists.

Good Americans and Indians need to watch these promoters of hate and war and stop them. Mr. Sadanand Dhume can begin with getting busy with improving the lives of hundreds of millions of poor Indians instead of promoting war at his well-paid jobs at AEI and WSJ.

Afghan Taliban Declare Victory:~Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan~

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan showed it openly to the world that it is a well-organized political power besides being a military power. It has ruled the country successfully and preserves the right and might of each and every decision of the country. It can neither accept external orders nor can it come under any one’s

pressure. It is proved to the world that the Islamic Emirate is deeply rooted internally in the Afghan nation and externally in the whole Islamic ummah. Militarily successful resistance against a gigantic international alliance, full presence on the whole soil and overall perseverance are the signs and secrets of the Islamic Emirate.

The invading countries of Afghanistan are compelled to review their policies by looking into the military and political determination, unity, organization and unshakeable stance of the Islamic Emirate.

A year ago a European diplomat said to an envoy of the Islamic Emirate:

“For a complete decade we were deceived by America and Karzai saying that a neighboring country is supervising the Taliban and can prepare them for anything. Therefore we were giving every kind of prerogatives to the authorities of that neighboring country. Although they endangered their country for this purpose but they did not succeed. If they could do something, they would have done it for the sake of these privileges. Now the world has realized that the claims of Karzai and America were only a kind of propaganda to deceive the nations worldwide. The Afghans and Taliban are not a trivial phenomenon but an ideological and national movement which should be acknowledged as a political fact.

It is but sheer determination, religious and ideological adherence and unequalled sacrifices displayed by true Afghan Mujahid nation for the last decade that today regional and world powers are after to reach mutual understanding about the country.

Today somewhere in the world if the name of the Islamic Emirate is carved and a flag with ‘Kalma tayyebaa’ (holy word of creedal testimony) is wavered on the top; it is actually the formal proclamation of the success of resistance against the incursion.

The contractors of the international invasion can no more deceive the nation by their baseless talks. They used the word ‘peace’ as a propaganda fragment to deceive the people. But today as their guardians and supporters are fed up militarily and logistically with this war and are planning for retreat, they are giving contradictory statements which show their complete confusion and embarrassment. Sometime they say that the office of the Islamic Emirate should be opened in some other country. Another time they say they have no part in this.

The choice of Qatar for the inauguration of formal office shows the political deliberation of the Islamic Emirate. If this initiative had been taken in some neighboring country, it would have been another chance of every day propaganda for Karzai administration. If the office was inaugurated in Saudi Arabia, someone else would have suspected it because of the close bilateral relations of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. And finally Turkey could not have been considered an ideal place for the sovereignty and prestige of this office because of its membership of the NATO alliance.

But Qatar having balance relations with all sides and a prestigious status in the Islamic world is the most appropriate place for this kind of office.

Although none of the Muslim countries is interested in opposing the Islamic Emirate, due to the sympathy of the masses in the Muslim world with Islamic Emirate. Even if the governments or the authorities might not be interested, they may take a careful stance on this for the sake of their people.

Now the military, political and national efficiency of the Islamic Emirate is evident, perhaps no one will benefit from the mere enmity of the Islamic Emirate. Everyone concerned should choose the rational and logical path of solving issues with Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. If the present invaders had chosen a lucid path instead of incursion, they would not have faced such a huge personnel and financial loss in Afghanistan.

A Troubled Geostrategic Marriage~US-Pakistan~

US-Pakistan relations date back to the establishment of Pakistan and have gone through ups and downs. The first significant bond between the two was in the context of the 1955 Baghdad Pact, which allied the Muslim nations bordering the USSR and was supposed to serve as a buffer against Soviet expansion into Asia. During the India-Pakistan War of 1965, America’s refusal to send weapons to Pakistan led to a sense of betrayal and distrust on the part of many Pakistanis towards the US. This sentiment grew stronger when the US cut military aid in 1979 after the Pakistani nuclear program came to light. We also see US Embassy in Islamabad Burnt to Ashes that year by Pakistani’s.

Relations improved later that year when the USSR invaded Afghanistan and the US Congress authorized the resumption of security assistance, despite Pakistan’s nuclear program. The nuclear test Pakistan conducted in 1998, in response to a nuclear test by India, again derailed relations with Washington. The 9/11 attacks against the US in 2001 served as a catalyst for a renewed closeness of relations, largely due to the understanding by General Musharraf, who headed Pakistan at the time, that Pakistan had better join the angry United States after the attacks rather than be identified as an opponent and risk a direct confrontation, as was the case with Iraq and Afghanistan. For the US, helping Pakistan becomes a more stable and democratic nation fighting radical Islamic terror elements became a central goal in the post-9/11 era.

The targeted killing of Osama Bin Laden by the United States in early May 2011 and the complex sequence of related events, including the terrorist attack by the Pakistan-based Haqqani network on the American Embassy in Kabul in early September, have thrown the complicated relationship between the US and Pakistan into the spotlight. The two nations are deeply divided with regard to the war on terrorism, reflected in recent months by increasingly loud calls by members of Congress to end military and economic aid to Pakistan in light of suspicions and accusations by senior US Army officers.

Hostile Pakistani public opinion and concerns about Pakistan playing both sides have damaged the willingness of several US lawmakers to continue to budget either civilian or military aid to Pakistan. Rep. Steve Chabot (R-OH) conveyed this sentiment when he remarked, “We spent all this money and they still hate us.”

In addition, Pakistan has time and again failed to maintain its military achievements in the war on terrorism or translate them into successes in the civilian realm; areas that were cleared of terrorists are reclaimed by terrorists in the absence of a stable local government (in some areas, the military has engaged in a third round of cleansing in the last two years). Therefore, it is not inconceivable that the next stage in the war on terrorism in Pakistan may go beyond the FATA borders and entail expanding American drone attacks into the Balochistan region.

Some of the current tensions between the US and Pakistan may be attributed to the sudden death of America’s special envoy to the region, Richard Holbrooke, who enjoyed a special status there, was an expert in all regional matters, and was a proponent of a policy that placed greater emphasis on the civilian aspect than on the military

Still, despite the angry reverberations from declarations by senior American government and military personnel, a closer examination of Pakistan’s war on terrorism demonstrates that America’s copious criticism is both overstated and imprecise in several ways. First, of all the nations’ fighting terrorism, including the United States, Pakistani security forces have suffered the highest number of casualties, with close to 4,000 dead. Second, Pakistani security forces have succeeded in catching senior Al-Qaeda and Taliban leaders, such as Khaled Sheikh Muhammad, the brain behind 9/11. Third, the Pakistani army and border patrol have long been fighting the terrorist organizations in FATA, and have paid for this with serious retaliations on the internal arena following the establishment of the Pakistani Taliban, which carries out many attacks targeting both urban centers and the security services.

Because of reading all that if you are thinking China as an Alternative to the US, then no you are WRONG my friends.

An examination of past confrontations between Pakistan and India (1947, 1965, 1971, and 1999) shows that China did not help Pakistan in any significant way in any of them, and even sided openly with India in 1999 in the Kargil conflict.

Moreover, as a member of the UN Security Council, China has voted for defining the Jamaat-ud-Dawa as a terrorist organization, in clear contrast to the Pakistani position. An examination of Chinese aid to Pakistan shows that the major portion is military, with only a small allotment to civilian needs. For example, after the destructive floods in 2010, China offered Pakistan the relatively modest sum of only $100 million, as opposed to the $500 million given by the US. China’s clear interest lies in maintaining the tension between India and Pakistan in order to impede India’s growth and keep it from vying with China for regional hegemony.

Therefore China might be expected to continue providing Pakistan with military aid, thereby preventing a disruption of the balance of power favoring India and an armed conflict between India and Pakistan. By contrast, leaders of the Pakistani regime are using the strategic alliance with China as a tool in negotiations with the US. About a week after the successful attack on Bin Laden, Prime Minister Gillani left for a visit to China and even declared in Pakistan’s parliament that China is “an all-weather partner” – a dig clearly directly at Washington.

US is the largest donor to Pakistan in terms of Civil and Military Aid ,The Full-bright Scholarship Program and the assistance provided by US Govt. in the Flood are just to name few efforts by the US Govt. for the people of Pakistan.

It’s time for all to understand that now we are with US in this war against extremism, we should fight and stand together by US until this over.

Friends have some good and bad moments, and right now we are just having some bad moments with our friend.

The Best Solution in the time is that drone control should hand over to Pakistan so any drone attack in Pakistan should be carry under Pakistani supervision and permission. The Supply Route to NATO forces should be opened against that agreement.

Islam and Democracy

Dr Abdul Qayyum’s Statement in front of a judge, August 2009

In August 2009, a judge told lawyers to remain silent and asked Dr. Abdul Qayyum to explain himself why Democracy is Kufr. Dr. Abdul-Qayyum was abducted by government agencies in July 2011 and remains under abduction as of January 2012.

Democracy originated from the rotten Greek Civilization. It predates Islam by thousands of years and is defined as ‘Government by the people, for the people of the people, through legislation.’ The source of the whole democratic system is human i.e. Sovereignty belongs to people and people will legislate laws through their elected representatives. Democracy does not simply mean elections, in this system Human is legislator. Hence no law can be made until the majority of the parliament agrees with it. So, for example if 51 percent of the people sitting in assemblies say Riba is Halal then Riba will become Halal.
“It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decreed a matter that they should have any option in their decision.” [Surah Al-Ahzab 33:36]
Contrary to this, In Khilafah there will be elections as well but the role of representatives is to implement laws made by Allah (swt) and their opinion regarding laws made by Allah (swt) will not be taken as it is Haram to do so. Hence, even if parliament is asked and 100 percent of the representatives say that Shariah should be implemented, then by itself this action is Haram. That’s why, for laws of Allah (swt) and Muhammad(saw) people have no right to say yes or no through a popular referendum.
(At this point the judge commented, there was Majlis Shura in Khilafah Rashida as well which used to advise Khalifah.)
In answer to this, Dr, Abdul Qayyum said that Allah swt said,
وَأَمْرُهُمْ شُورَى بَيْنَهُمْ
“who (conduct) their affairs by mutual consultation “ Surah Ash-Shura 42:38
Muhammad (saw) used to do Shura with people as during Ghazwa e badr, Muhammad (saw) camped at a point, Habab bin Mandhar who was expert in military affairs asked Muhammad (saw) that is decision of camping here is wahi from Allah (swt) or your own opinion? Muhammad (saw) said this is my own opinion and there is no wahi revealed regarding this issue. Then Sahabi said according to my opinion and military expertise we should camp beyond the wells of Badr. Muhammad (saw) agreed with his opinion and ordered to move camp beyond the wells of Badr. Some so-called ulema say look Muhammad (saw) left his opinion and accepted suggestion by Sahabi and thus set an excellent example for democracy. We should understand that Muhammad (saw) accepted his suggestion because there was no wahi, regarding this issue by Allah (swt), if there was wahi, the Sahabi wouldn’t have even given any suggestion. Similarly, during Ghazwa e Uhd, consultation from the people was taken as to whether war should be fought while staying in Madinah or outside Madinah. Muhammad (saw) accepted the opinion of majority which was to fight outside Madinah, even though contrary to this, the opinion of Muhammad (saw) and senior Sahbah was to fight from inside Madinah. From this, if someone extracts that how this is a good example of Democracy, it is a grave mistake. Shurah is only for Mubah actions and if there is another Hukm of Allah regarding it, no Shurah can be taken.
Another work of Majlis e Shurah is to account rulers. When Umar (ra) during his Khilafah gave ruling that Haq Mehar for women shouldn’t be more than 400 Dirham, one woman stood up and said Umar (ra) you have no right to set amount for Haq Mehar as Allah swt said did not fix it. After listening to this Umar (ra) said the woman is right and Umar is wrong. Some so-called Ulema say that Umar (ra) set an excellent example for Democracy. This thinking is wrong as this was only accounting the Khalifah, not legislating laws which happens in Democracy. In the Khilafah, no law can be taken from other than Shari Sources which are the Quran, Sunnah, Ijmah Sahbah and Qyas. Laws can be extracted through Ijtihad, and only by that person who can do Ijtihad and fulfils all conditions. During the Khilafah, Abubakr (ra) and Umar (ra) used to extract laws through Ijtihad and if the Khalifah is not a Mujtahid, he can refer to a Mujtahid for Hukm Shari. As an example, Haroon Rasheed adopted Imam Abu Yusuf’s Kitab ul Khiraj for Economic issues.
Mr. Judge, today the word democracy is considered sacred and that’s why people who call for it hide under its cover. We should know that in democracy people are source of legislation. In contrast, in the Khilafah, the sources for legislation are Quran, Sunnah, Ijmah, Sahbah and Qyas. Judge Sahib, its’ now up to you to decide that if people legislates other than what Allah has revealed, is this action is Kufr or not. Allah swt said,
إِنْ الْحُكْمُ إِلاَّ لِلَّهِ
“Indeed, the ruling is only for Allah.” [Surah al-Anam 6:57]
I believe that the Muslim Ummah’s glory was due to the Khilafah, today Muslims are oppressed because they have left obeying Allah in Khilafah and have adopted obeying people in Democracy.
According to the glad tidings of Muhammad (saw) Khilafah will be established again and will give justice to Mankind.
To conclude, I will say…
فَمَاذَا بَعْدَ الْحَقِّ إِلاَّ الضَّلاَلُ
“So after the truth, what else can there be, save error” [Surah Yunus 10:32]
After this Judge asked the police that why don’t you file an FIR charge sheet against those people who have discussions on TV or write columns in newspapers? This is a societal discussion, so I hereby confirm the bail of Dr. Abdul Qayyum.

UK soldiers rape Afghan kids

File photo shows a British soldier in Musa Qala, Helmand Province.
Two British soldiers fighting in Afghanistan have been accused of raping two children aged ten in the war-ravaged country, a report has revealed.

UK officials said on Wednesday that they are investigating allegations of “inappropriate behavior” by the soldiers, The Sun reported.

According to the paper, the solders filmed raping a boy and a girl separately and showed the video to other servicemen who reported them.

“We take any such allegation extremely seriously,” the British Ministry of Defense said. “It would be inappropriate to comment further while an investigation is ongoing.”

Afghan President Hamid Karzai’s office said the government is “immensely disgusted by the rise in recent incidents of immoral nature among foreign soldiers.”

The Afghan government also called on Britain to investigate and punish anyone involved.

The incident comes one week after a video emerged showing US Marines urinating on dead Taliban fighters, that caused outrage across Afghanistan.

Pakistan Told Not to Send Grossman, Says US

Special Envoy to Pakistan and Afghanistan Marc Grossman

WASHINGTON: The US State Department confirmed on Tuesday that Pakistan had told Washington not to send its special envoy Marc Grossman to Islamabad for consultation on exploratory talks with the Taliban.

The confirmation of Islamabad’s refusal to welcome Mr Grossman comes hours before Pakistan’s new ambassador, Sherry Rehman, meets US President Barak Obama to present her credentials.

The Washington Post reported earlier Tuesday that Pakistan had turned down a US request for Ambassador Grossman to visit Islamabad during his current trip to the region that started this week. Mr Grossman is consulting US allies in the greater Middle East region on a move to involve the Taliban in the Afghan reconciliation process.

The development indicates further deterioration in a relationship which has continued to decline at a regular pace since the May 2 US raid on Osama bin Laden’s compound in Abbottabad. The decline became rapid after the November 26 NATO raid on a Pakistani military post that killed 24 Pakistani soldiers.

Qatar polishing Israhell’s Boots with US over Syria

The emir of Qatar has become the first Arab puppet to voice support for military intervention in Syria should the humanely laudable bloodshed continue there. Does that mean Doha is aligned with the West’s agenda in the region? Sheikh Hamd bin Khalifa Al Thani made the statement during his interview with USZ news channel CBS. Speaking about the conflict in Syria, Sheik Hamad said

For such a situation to stop the killing, some troops should go to stop the killing.”Patrick Henningsen, an associate editor for infowars.com told RT that Qatar is aligned with the USZ in destabilizing Syria,

as it was in Libya

Qatar played a crucial role in the destabilization of Libya and actually provided 1,600 troops on the ground during the Libyan uprising. Qatar also was the country that signed the deal back in February 2011 to market crude oil from Libya – this is way in advance of toppling Gaddafi”, he explained.

Qatar hosts US(Z) Central Command. So there is definitely synergy there with whatever America’s agenda is.”The statement by Qatari leader and one of the worst Israhelli puppets born till today comes amid growing Zionist Humanitarian criticism of the Zionist puppet Arab League observer mission to Syria for failing to stop the Mossad/CIA backed bloodshed in Syria, which has already claimed over 5,000 lives according to UN estimates. The organization’s chief puppet, Nabil al-Arabi, said on Saturday the league would reassess the work of its mission at a meeting later this month. There has been partial progress until now but there is daily bloodshed in Syria that the League aims to end (by ending Syria and killing all civilians at once)”, he told Agence France Presse.

However, Henningsen expressed doubts about the Arab League’s capability to assess the situation in Syria. The countries that represent the Arab League are petrol monarchy dictatorships. I don’t think the Arab League has a real democracy mandate. It’s a bit of an oxymoron”, he said. Also on Saturday there were zombie reports from a major opposition group that a Syrian brigadier-general had defected to Turkey, becoming the highest-ranking officer to flee Bashar Assad’s army.

The Syrian National Council said that Mostafa Ahmad al-Sheik had joined the Free Syrian Army, a group of army defectors fighting the regime. President Bashar Assad has stated that the violence in the country has been organized by armed terrorist groups orchestrated from abroad. Henningsen claimed that the USZ may be buying off defectors financially or promising them a major role in a new Syrian regime. “There is power broking going on behind the scenes.”

Pakistan Army Chief Furious at puppet Prime Minister over Rubbish Allegations

The international news agency Reuters said on Saturday the Pakistan’s army chief ‘is furious with the prime minister for statements criticising the army and has demanded that they be clarified or withdrawn’.

“The army chief complained to the president about the prime minister’s statements, and said they needed to be either clarified or withdrawn”, a source told Reuters.

The senior military source told Reuters ‘such statements were divisive and made the country more vulnerable’. As angry as Kayani is, the source said, the council of senior military commanders is even more angry.

There are no signs yet that a coup is being seriously considered, however, reflecting the changed political calculations in Pakistan since civilians took power in 2008.

American stooge Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani this week criticised General Kayani and the director general of the Inter-Services Intelligence, Lieutenant-General Ahmed Shuja Pasha, for filing court papers in a case involving a mysterious memo that has pitted the military against the civilian government.

In an interview with the Chinese media, Gilani said the filings were ‘unconstitutional’, infuriating the military’s high command, who issued a stern press release. “There can be no allegation more serious than what the honourable prime minister has levelled”, it said.

“This has very serious ramifications with potentially grievous consequences for the country.” Gilani further infuriated the army on Wednesday by sacking the defence secretary, Lieutenant General (retd) Naeem Khalid Lodhi, for ‘gross misconduct and illegal action which created misunderstanding’ between institutions.

Lodhi was the most senior civil servant responsible for military affairs, a post usually seen as the military’s main advocate in the civilian bureaucracy.

“There is a lot of pressure by the main corps commanders on the army chief regarding the statements of the prime minister”, the source said.

Pakistanis rallied behind the military after a November 26 cross-border Nato air attack killed 24 Pakistani soldiers on the frontier with Afghanistan, driving ties with Washington to their lowest point in years.

The army’s fury is cause for serious concern for the civilian government, and Gilani and President Asif Ali Zardari went on a charm offensive on Saturday.

Earlier, Zardari met Kayani in a similar attempt to mend fences. “The current security situation was discussed”, a presidential spokesman said, without giving any details.

Pakistan’s politicians and media pundits have been abuzz with rumours of a possible coup since the memo controversy erupted in October. The disputed memo – allegedly from Zardari’s government, seeking US help in reining in the generals – has pushed relations between the civilian leadership and the military, to their lowest point since the last military coup in 1999.

The latest crisis also troubles Washington, which wants smooth ties between the civilian and military leaders so that Pakistan can help efforts to stabilise neighbouring Afghanistan, a top priority for President Barack Obama.

Pentagon backed terrorist indicted in Corps Commander attack case

An anti-terrorism court on Saturday indicted an activist of a banned and CIA-Mossad backed terrorist organisation, Jundullah, in the corps commander convoy attack case. Mohammad Qasim Toori, alias Hamza, an activist of the banned Jundullah, was charged with attacking the convoy of the then corps commander, Karachi, in Clifton on June 10, 2004.

The prosecution charged that the defendant was one of the assailants who attacked the convoy of the then corps commander, Lt-Gen Ahsan Saleem Hayat. Ten people, including six army personnel and three policemen, were killed and 10 others injured.

The ATC, after the indictment of the defendant, directed the special public prosecutor to produce the prosecution witnesses on the next date of hearing. Earlier in February 2006, the ATC handed down the death sentence to 11 activists of the Mossad and CIA’s jointly funded and backed group Jundullah having found them guilty of the murder of army and law enforcement agencies’ personnel. The Jundullah activists, however, challenged the conviction by the ATC in the Sindh High Court (SHC) and the appeal is pending. Toori was arrested in January 2008 after a shootout in the Shah Latif area. During the investigation, looted money was sent to Egyptian national Hamza Jofi, whose code name is Haji Mumtaz, for fulfilling the expenses of the organisation’s operational activities.
